It was a day of joy, thanksgiving, and celebration at St. Patrick’s College, Asaba, as the Catholic Women Organization (CWO) of the Issele-Uku Diocese conferred the prestigious title of Life Member on Ezinne Patricia Uti, in recognition of her years of dedicated service, faith, and support to the growth of the Church and the organization.
The well-attended event brought together Catholic women from various parishes across the diocese, priests, family members, and friends, all gathered to celebrate a woman described as “a beacon of faith and humility.”
In her address, the Diocesan President of the CWO praised Nne-Oha Patricia Uti for her unwavering commitment to the ideals of the Catholic Women Organization, her selfless contributions to church projects, and her consistent participation in diocesan and parish activities. She described Nne-Oha Uti as a role model whose life of service continues to inspire younger women in the faith.
“Nne-Oha Patricia Uti has shown what true Catholic motherhood stands for — devotion, charity, and leadership. Her contributions to the Church and society have been impactful and worthy of emulation,” the CWO president stated.
Responding to the honour, Nne-Oha Uti expressed deep gratitude to the Catholic Women Organization and the entire diocese for the recognition. She dedicated the award to God Almighty, her family, and all members of the CWO who continue to work tirelessly for the advancement of the Church.
“This honour is not just for me alone, but for every woman who serves with love and sincerity. I will continue to do my best to support the work of God through the Catholic Women Organization,” she said with emotion.
The ceremony was filled with moments of joy, featuring thanksgiving Mass, praise and worship sessions, cultural displays, and presentations of gifts. The event reaffirmed the unity and strength of Catholic women across the Issele-Uku Diocese, as they continue to uphold the virtues of faith, family, and service to humanity.
