The attention of High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo, the Ibe-Ebidouwei of Ijaw Nation and Chairman of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, has been drawn to a publication circulating on social media alleging that he issued a 21-day ultimatum to the Federal Government to release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
We wish to state categorically that High Chief Ekpemupolo neither authored nor authorized any such statement. The publication is entirely false and mischievous, and should be disregarded by the public.
This baseless report is clearly the handiwork of detractors who are uncomfortable with Tompolo’s firm stance and ongoing efforts to curb illegal crude oil activities in the Niger Delta. Their aim is to discredit his name and undermine the progress achieved under his leadership. However, they have failed and will continue to fail, as Tompolo remains resolute and committed to the total eradication of oil theft and illegal refining in the region.
We wish to reaffirm that High Chief Ekpemupolo stands solidly behind the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and fully supports the Renewed Hope Agenda. He remains steadfast in his belief in the President’s leadership and reiterates his endorsement of President Tinubu for a second term.
The Federal Government and the general public are therefore advised to ignore the said publication in its entirety.
