The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oshimili North Local Government Area, Hon. Austin Nnabuife (JP),aka Ojeogbue has commended the Executive Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, the Judiciary, and the Delta State Government for their fair-mindedness and commitment to justice, which enabled Senator Peter Nwaoboshi to reclaim possession of his Guinea House property in Lagos.

In a statement issued in Asaba, Hon. Nnabuife described the court’s verdict that restored the property to Senator Nwaoboshi as “a triumph of truth and the rule of law over falsehood and persecution.”

He lauded Governor Oborevwori for exhibiting political maturity and statesmanship by allowing justice to prevail irrespective of political affiliations, noting that such conduct strengthens public confidence in governance and promotes unity across Delta State.

“I want to sincerely appreciate His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, for his exemplary leadership and respect for due process. The governor’s unbiased posture throughout this period reflects his deep belief in fairness and the sanctity of the rule of law,” Nnabuife stated.
He also extended gratitude to the Nigerian Judiciary for its courage and steadfastness in dispensing justice without fear or favor, emphasizing that the verdict reaffirms that “the courts remain the last hope of the common man.”
Hon. Nnabuife further praised Senator Nwaoboshi for his patience, faith, and resilience throughout the protracted legal ordeal, describing him as “a man of courage who never lost faith in the justice system of our country.”
“This victory should serve as an encouragement to all law-abiding citizens to believe in the judicial process. Truth may be delayed, but it cannot be denied,” he added.

The APC chairman also called on politicians across Delta State to emulate the spirit of tolerance and mutual respect demonstrated by both Governor Oborevwori and Senator Nwaoboshi, stressing that Delta’s progress depends on unity of purpose rather than partisan rivalry.

“Our collective goal should be the peace and development of Delta State. Politics should never divide us; instead, it should unite us in service to our people,” he concluded.
