Nnabuife: The Unshakeable pillar of Oshimili North APC’s progress

By: Ike Philip Abiagom

The true worth of a man is in the way he treats people who are absolutely in need. If you care about people in need, you are actually making a contribution to the development of the nation. We need to give life back to the people; democracy is important in governance. We need to see how we can use the available resources for everybody; create opportunities for all and care, especially for those who are truly in need.

In the realm of politics, few individuals have demonstrated the unwavering dedication and unrelenting passion of Hon. Austin Nnabuife, aka “Political Ojeaogbue” in Oshimili North Local Government Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC). Lest we forget, if Hon. Austin Nnabuife is not number one on the list of Most Distinguished Senator Peter Nwaoboshi’s uncompromising loyalists, of APC Delta North leaders he certainly could be number two. It would, therefore, be difficult for any revisionism to change that and his desire to rewrite history, will ultimately prove futile in the face of Nnabuife’s unwavering commitment to the party’s ideals.

Hon. Austin Nnabuife’s leadership has been a transformative force within the Delta North APC, guiding the party towards unprecedented unity and cementing its position as a dominant force in Delta North politics. His visionary approach and inclusive style have fostered a culture of unity and cooperation, earning him the respect and admiration of party members and Nigerians alike.

The APC’s remarkable achievements under Nnabuife’s stewardship are a testament to his exceptional leadership. From the party’s unity in Oshimili North to its impactful policy initiatives, Nnabuife has been the driving force behind the APC’s progress. His unwavering dedication to the party’s ideals and his unrelenting pursuit of excellence have inspired a new generation of leaders and cemented the APC’s position as a beacon of hope for Deltans.

Nnabuife’s leadership has been marked by transparency, accountability, and a commitment to democratic values. His unwavering support for President Bola Tinubu’s administration Delta North Leader, Most Distinguished Senator Peter Nwaoboshi and his tireless efforts to promote party unity have been instrumental in shaping the APC’s success.

Hon. Austin Nnabuife remains an unshakeable pillar of progress within the APC, and his unwavering dedication, visionary approach, and inclusive style have cemented his position as a champion of democracy and a beacon of hope for Nigerians. It was based of the unwavering dedication and unrelenting passion that made Hon. Nnabuife to bag the award of excellence from the Association Community Newspaper Publishers of Nigeria(ACNPN) as the 2024 Outstanding Grassroots Mobilizer of the year 2024 . The APC’s continued success is a testament to Nnabuife’s leadership. Well done our capacity Chairman.

Nelson Agbamuche: Celebrating a Quintessential leader and Philanthropist at 50

By: Ike Philip Abiagom

Greatness is a property for which no man can receive credit too soon; it must be possessed long before it is acknowledged. ”When one of the world’s greatest thinkers, Ralph Waldo Emerson handed down the above words of wisdom, those he had in mind were certainly the likes of High Chief Nelson Agbamuche.

For the trail-blazing Business mogul par excellence from Akwukwu-Igbo Kingdom in Oshimili North LGA of Delta State, it is certainly impossible to gloss over his attributes for greatness. High Chief Nelson Agbamuche is a man of qualities, he is a father, grassroots man and a Political Juggernaut, He is a grassroots mobilizer, philanthropist, and a man of integrity.
High Chief Nelson Agbamuche means different things to different people; to his wife and children and his people, while to us his admirers, he is known as the grassroots empowerment master of our time, the Political Strategist but his detractors always erroneously see him as an Obstacle because of his rising profile and acceptance by the grassroots.

High Chief Nelson Agbamuche is not only the Pride of Akwukwu-Igbo Kingdom but also the Pride of the Action Peoples Congress (APC) Oshimili North Local Government Area Ward(1)One for whom he had waged countless political wars for and won virtually all, just like the Greek mythological Odyssey who fought and won difficult battle in History because he is solidly rooted and grounded, the Pride of Akwukwu-Igbo Kingdom also fought and won many battles even those considered as herculean in nature for his people and party leaders.

High Chief Nelson Agbamuche, the Odozi -Ani of Akwukwu-Igbo Kingdom, is a quintessential leader, cerebral professional grassroots politician, astute entrepreneur, motivational human manager and exceptional humanitarian. To him, living a well-fulfilled life means having outstanding personal achievements, contributing massively to societal development and enhancing the living conditions of the underprivileged.

The philanthropic pathfinder, business mogul High Chief Nelson Agbamuche has gracefully added another year today to his glorious opportunity of improving the value of human existence.
Through times, High Chief Nelson Agbamuche has represented the true definition of success. With an organized network of several investments within Nigeria, the young business mogul referenced his success to the grace and mercy of God almighty.‎

Of course it is a landmark birthday celebration of golden Jubilee , but of essence is the effervescence of a man who may, somewhat, have seen it all when it comes to scaling heights from zero to hero, especially having been born without a silver spoon.

In an old interview, he was quoted to have spoken about his humble background. Little wonder why he is more passionate about impacting lives, having been there, not leaving out the vulnerable in society.

In truth, his great impact to human development, capacity building and overwhelming empowerment like scholarships, empowerment, widows supports, youth employments, charitable donations has placed “Odozani Gburugburu” in a distinguished class of honour, which is evident as he clocks plus-one today.

High Chief Nelson Agbamuche is an iconic philanthropist, a dedicated agent of change and a lover of humanity. His divine antecedents over the years has placed him in the spotlight of worldwide philanthropy. His foundation has carried out several life changing projects on education, social change and empowerment.

High Chief Agbamuche is a true brother, elegant, and unblemished in the magisterial lithe and athleticism of folkloric Kings and heroes, with clear, unfettered, excellent diction and oratory, his brilliant smile like sparkling sun radiating from crystal clear eyes and embellished by the clean-shaven glistening scalp. High Chief Nelson Agbamuche is down to earth and corporate-smart, from the various experiences of home-bred grooming, ivy league sojourns in first class institutions and the inspirational influence and unparalleled, unquantifiable tutelage from the grand master himself, Most Distinguished Senator Peter Nwaoboshi, He is an accomplished businessman, technocrat, politician and grassroots mobilizer on his own merit.

At 50, you will admire Agbamuche’s simplicity, humility and generosity.

At 50, he sits on a conglomerate with business affairs in all nooks and crannies around the country.

At 50, Agbamuche has employed as many youths as possible through his fleet of businesses.

At 50, his heart is large enough to show magnanimity to humanity, specifically through creating sustainable wealth in the process.
At 50, he continues to make giant strides, both in business and Politics.
At 50, he is that cat with nine lives who has refused to give up on his dreams but continues to aspire higher in his entrepreneurial endeavours and in Politics.

At 50, Agbamuche continues to yearn for more of God, as he seems to have positioned kingdom businesses at the centre of his heart.

At 50… At 50… At 50…

50 hearty cheers to a generalissimo!

Beyond Sentiment: Aniocha Should Embrace Change In 2027

By: Osita Biose
The principle of power rotation is a healthy convention that fosters fairness, equity, and inclusive growth.
Delta State’s power rotation model, wherein the governorship alternates among the three senatorial districts, Delta North, Delta Central, and Delta South stands as a stellar example. This arrangement has promoted equity, stability, and balanced development, ensuring that each district has the opportunity to produce a governor.

Within the Aniocha/Oshimili constituency, until the recent emergence of Hon Lawrence Ngozi Okolie from Oshimili South, Aniocha North and South  have more often  held the House of Representatives seat since 1999.In the saddle were Hon Paschal Adigwe (South)Hon Joan Onyemechi{South)Hon Ned Nwoko(North),with Hon. Ndudi Elumelu being a prominent representative. While the various  leaderships and contributions are undeniably commendable, the prolonged representation by Aniocha North and South  local  governments raises pertinent questions about fairness and equity within the constituency.

Adopting power rotation in the Aniocha/Oshimili constituency presents a range of significant benefits. One of the foremost advantages is the promotion of equity and fairness. By embracing this practice, leadership opportunities are distributed more evenly across all local governments, ensuring that no single area dominates representation.

Moreover, power rotation fosters inclusive growth by encouraging participation from diverse areas within the constituency. This approach broadens representation, allowing for a variety of perspectives and ideas to shape governance.

Likewise, it serves as a safeguard against marginalisation. By guaranteeing that every local government has a voice in leadership decisions, power rotation ensures that all groups within the constituency feel valued and included in the political process.

As the 2027 elections draw nearer, Aniocha/Oshimili constituency is presented with a unique opportunity to embrace change and uphold the principles of power rotation. This change would ensure that all local governments within the constituency are granted an equal platform to contribute to leadership. In doing so, new ideas, perspectives, and energies can be infused into governance, benefiting the entire constituency.

Stakeholders must reflect on the importance of power rotation as the elections approach. By adopting this convention, Aniocha/Oshimili constituency can advance inclusive growth, diversity, and representation. This will not only ensure fairness but also lead to a more equitable and developed community.
At the end of Hon Ngozi Okolie’s first tenure, most constituents are confident that the score card will justify the means when compared with  the achievements of his predecessors
.

It is time for Aniocha to rise above sentiment, prioritise collective progress, and embrace the transformational benefits of equitable representation. The greater good of the constituency must take precedence in 2027.

GLORIA OKOLUGBO AND HER CHILDISH POLITICAL RANTS AGAINST SENATOR NWAOBOSHI

By: Ike Philip Abiagom & Obiageli Edward Obanya
Hon. Gloria OKOLUGBO, the self styled Director of Communications for the Office of Senator Ned Munir Nwoko, has recently been raving and ranting in the media space, with all manner of uncouth and uncensored vituperations, casting unprovoked and baseless aspersions on the ebullient personality and political sagacity of the Most Distinguished Senator Peter Nwaoboshi, an astute political leader in Anioma , a Constitutionalist, founding state secretary of PDP, two term State Party Chairman, two term Senator of Federal Republic of Nigeria, two term Chairman  Senate Committee on Niger Delta Affairs, an elder statement, the encyclopedia of Delta State Politics, informed Party Technocrat of APC, Anioma Political Warrior, a Go-Getter and a result Oriented Senator and the Odogwu of Anioma nation.

Her latest loquacious verbiage is couched in an article titled: “Nwaoboshi’s Divisive Tactics Undermining APC’s Progress in Delta North”, in which she exposed her childish, amateurish political shallowness, by dabbling into the internal affairs of the All Progressives Congress, APC; a matter over which she neither has the competence nor authority to speak on.

Unfortunately, her comments not only raises disturbing posers about the real intent and purpose of the looming defection of her principal, Senator Ned Nwoko to the APC, which she herself teased in an interview with a well national television network, but most importantly, offers the Delta APC a very clear, unambiguous mistakenly mistimed sneak preview of the divisive, disruptive, confrontational and quarrelsome baggage which Ned Nwoko is bringing with him into Delta APC.

Of course, those who are already conversant with Senator Nwoko’s eclectic spontaneity and have followed his political trajectory will easily confirm that these were the same unwholesome traits he has exhibited over the years and he is fully prepared to offload same on the APC, no thanks to Miss Okolugbo’s early exposé and confession of what is to come.

It is quite obvious that the provocative needle that has tickled the fickle minded Miss Okolugbo into this childish rant against Distinguished Senator Nwaoboshi, has to do with the simply and clear advise which he wisely offered to the APC intendee on the processes and demands which are required by a would be defector, to be fully accepted and integrated into the party mainstream and of course, the subsequent note of cautionary revelation that the want away PDP Senator was already in cahoots with certain elements to destabilize Delta APC.

For those who may have missed it, Senator Nwaoboshi, reflecting on Ned Nwoko’s manipulative shenanigans to join APC had described it thus: “His actions are unjust and arrogant, particularly as he is not yet a member of the party. Such behavior disregards the democratic principles the APC upholds and disrespects the rights of the duly elected Delta State APC executive.

He then proceeded to advise Ned Nwoko with the very brief and unambiguous words: “If Nwoko is truly interested in joining the APC, he must follow the same process as any other prospective member. This involves building relationships within the party, respecting its leadership structure, and adhering to its constitution and democratic processes. He cannot expect to join the party and immediately dictate its affairs. The APC is a democratic institution governed by established rules and procedures. Nwoko must abide by these rules if he intends to become part of the party.”

The fear of Senator Nwaoboshi’s advise is the beginning of the defection wisdom which prompted Miss Okolugbo to launch into a torrid tirade of unsolicited, uncultured abuse and several delusional postulations and allegations like: “under Nwaoboshi’s leadership, the APC in Delta North suffered significant electoral setbacks, which she attributed to a leadership style driven by personal ambition rather than collective progress. “Rather than building the party, Nwaoboshi’s tenure was marked by stagnation and a lack of strategic direction.”
She further cautioned that: “clinging to outdated leadership practices would only alienate party faithful and undermine President Tinubu’s efforts to fortify the APC”

The annoying part of this whole Okolugbo is that one wonders who gave her the temerity; a weightless political figure whose  credentials for recognition are only a few stints as a civil commissioner in a former administration and a failed gubernatorial bid with a fringe political party, which she later even abandoned to support another candidate, who gave her the audacity to even assume the boldness to talk about the Distinguished Senator Peter Nwaoboshi the way she has done.

Sadly, one can only infer that Ned Nwoko has confused her rational faculties with his usual monetary overtures to now imagine in her infantile hallucinations, that she can be so garrulous in describing the political legacy of the Oracle.

Infact Miss Okolugbo’s ranting reminds one of the parable in the legendary novel, “Things Fall Apart” by the late famous author Chinua Achebe of  “Nza, the wiry bird, who after a heavy meal, forgot himself and challenged his chi (personal god) to a wrestling match. The latter laughed in a guttural voice while Nza danced around in the arena, with his shiny belly in tow and in one swift movement, Nza was seized by the tail and smashed on the stony earth by his chi. The fight ended before it began and the animals, who looked forward to an entertaining evening, blamed Nza for being unwise and daring too far!”

As at the time of writing this piece, Ned Nwoko is still a full, card carrying member who is representing Delta North Senatorial zone under the Umbrella of the PDP, so one wonders why Miss Okolugbo, perhaps carried away like Nza, on the heavy meal of monetary gratification she receives, would bad mouth and rubbish the APC as a crude, backward, uncivilized party which can only be saved by “Ned Nwoko’s visionary leadership, influence and vision which can rejuvenate the party and reverse its declining fortunes in Delta North,” all these even before he has officially joined the APC fold? What an insult to “The alter egos of APC’s in Delta North led by Most Distinguish Senator Peter Nwaoboshi, Rt Hon Victor Ochei, Ogbueshi Adizue Eluaka, Lady Madam Olejeme, Engr Hon Doris Uboh, [ Prof Leroy Edozien, Chief Enuha], APC reps candidate for Ndokwa Ukwuani Federal Constituency in the last election, Sir Opone, Evangelist Moses Kamaya, and all the others too numerous to mention would not allow for some elements to cast slur on the Delta North APC either in the local government or beyond.

Well, Distinguished Senator Peter Nwaoboshi has made his point clearly in the following words: “As a a two term Senator  who represented Delta North Senatorial District (2015–2023) and a committed leader in the APC, I strongly condemn Nwoko’s attempt to destabilize the Delta State APC”.
As the saying goes, a word is enough for the wise. Those who have ears to hear, let them hear.
