Senator Nwaoboshi’s Political influence has brought multiplying gains to Delta APC

By: Ike Philip Abiagom

Most Distinguished Senator Peter Onyelukachukwu Nwaoboshi (SPON)

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he member representing Delta North Senatorial District in the Senate Arm of the National Assembly and Chairman, Senate Committee on Niger Delta Affairs,Most Distinguished Senator Peter Nwaoboshi, our Dynamic Leader, the Oracle turned Miracle of Delta Politics, the Aguwajiejemba of Ibusa, the Ide of Okpanam Land, Oshimili Lieonye Olie Ogwuaa of Akwukwu Igbo Kingdom and the Ochiaya of Anioma Nation at heart has every right to continue representing the Anioma nation at the Red chambers considering his pedigree and achievements as our senator. He’s a Pan-Nigerian leader who is acceptable by all regions of the country regardless of any ethnic, religious and tribal consideration.

One man that embodies the salutary impact of the Anioma is Most Distinguished Senator Peter Onyelukachukwu Nwaoboshi(SPON). He stands today as the only and original voice of Anioma (Delta North) at the National Assembly. The official mascot of Anioma identity, history, traditional norms and values. The fearless, courageous, pragmatic, articulate and very outspoken advocacy in the legitimate quest for constitutional clarity over contentious issues, which Senator Nwaoboshi (SPON) has displayed with competent authority, makes his leadership model iconic.

There is no doubt whatsoever that in the last seven years of his representation as a senator of Federal Republic of Nigeria, Nigeria have come to embrace and admire Senator Nwaoboshi’s tactical audacity, strategic acumen and the sure-footed administrative astuteness which sets him apart as a visionary leader.

Senator Nwaoboshi is a huge asset for the All Progressive Congress (APC) and he has brought stability to the APC politics,With a cognisant and superb tutelage, leading to cognate service, straddling several years, including a concluding headship as chairman, Delta PDP which was for two victorious terms, Senator Nwaoboshi is wholly equipped for what he is doing.
As a chronicler of history, I have to testify that a man who became Senator representing the good people of Delta North Senatorial District in 2015, Most Distinguished Senator Peter Onyelukachukwu Nwaoboshi(SPON), did what many people who become senators in Nigeria don’t often do. He actually impacted on his environment and leaving a legacy for posterity.

High Performing Leaders are vision creators, team builders, task allocators, People Developers, and motivation Stimulators. And this is the kind of leader Senator Peter Onyelukachukwu Nwaoboshi is. Nwaoboshi’s entrance into APC and his holy anger to turn around the fortune of his land have paid off on his image. The uncommon transformation he brought to bear in the Senatorial District today has made him one of the most popular political image in the country in terms of good representation in Nigeria senate.

This is responsible for hundreds of honours that have been bestowed on him by diverse institutions and groups. The law of harvest is to reap more than you sew. Sow an act, and you reap a habit. Sow a habit and you reap a character. Sow a character and you reap a destiny.

Senator Nwaoboshi is a tested politician and besides his administrative prowess,he has also proved to be a dependable ally, amplified in the partnership that now exist between him and DSP Ovie Omo-Agege. Beyond the patriotism so displayed in the discharge of the onerous task to structure the emergence of an inclusive APC EXCO in Delta State, Senator Nwaoboshi, since his aligning with the APC, has visibly, in concert with DSP Omo-Agege extended the hope of a deserving victory for the APC in Delta State.

Senator Nwaoboshi is a well thought venture in APC and the reality is that his antecedents and previous endeavours as a politician, coupled with a profuse capacity for intuitive engagement are reasonable collateral. That is my humble opinion. It is therefore baffling and exasperatingly mortifying, to see the stiffening of a few against what obviously is a turnaround in the hitherto bleak fortunes of APC in Delta State, through the occurrence of a Nwaoboshi in party. It is more disturbing when one sees that the loudest voices of opposition come from the immediate beneficiaries of the Senator Nwaoboshi’s rise to prominence, particularly from the Oshimili North axis.

Ndi Anioma and APC have every reason to be proud of Nwaoboshi – an illustrious son whose political influence has brought multiplying gains to Anioma, evidenced by the several projects in infrastructure either attracted or personally provided by the Senator. In human capital development, the Senator has, and is still empowering both youths and women in various trades and businesses to make them self-reliant. Many more are also now on his payroll, sole effort of the Senator to alleviate the sufferings of his people.

Oshimili North and Anioma people cannot but extol Nwaoboshi. The nooks and crannies of Delta North are witnesses to the Nwaoboshi factor in the distribution of social infrastructure that once eluded the region as stakeholders in the NDDC. He just attracted and supplied the biggest electric Transformer to Ambassador Leo Okogwu Street and its environs (Asaba) who have been in total darkness for close to nine months and now the entire community have light courtesy of  Federal Ministry of Niger Delta and Affairs.  Nwaoboshi is willing to do more for his people.

We are not in any argument with those who wonder whether any good thing can come out of our Most Distinguished Senator Peter Nwaoboshi?. We are not convincing people that our dear Oshimili North and entire Anioma has been transformed by this Political Messiah or respond to the demagogic rhetoric and hypocritical lies of those who have had their consciences scared with the fiery irons of falsehood and bigotry. We came to say to you to “Come and see.”the hand work of our most Distinguished Senator Peter Nwaoboshi all over Anioma land.

Testimonies are being given from all facets of the Delta North society, including traditional rulers, Politicians, Civil Servants, churches have all testified to this uncommon transformation strides.Students, are not left out; even the opposing political parties confirmed his proactive representation at the red chambers.
The entire Anioma people will continue to pray for the Almighty God to grants him good health to enjoy the rest of his days. We also wish Our Leader the wisdom like that of King Solomon to continue to play his excellent leadership role for his Anioma people, the state and the nation in general. Amen.

If no be Nwaoboshi, na who else e go be?

Aniocha/Oshimili in large numbers on Saturday stormed IDE home in Ogwashi-Uku, venue of the official declaration of Nigerian writer and public policy consultant, Dr Tony Nwaka , to the All Progressives Congress,APC.

The massive crowd, mostly youths from all over Aniocha/Oshimili, who donned different attire and were in a celebratory mood, came to show solidarity with a man many of them had adored and loved over the years for his unflinching support for equity, justice, empowerment and rule of law. By the time IDE  stepped into the venue to officially unveil his ideas to rescue Aniocha/Oshimili from the brink of collapse and set it on the part of greatness where it should be,the entire atmosphere became turbo-charged.
Addressing the ward executive, elders, leaders and a cross session of party faithful, the IDE stated that he decided to first make his interest public in his ward, as charity begins at home, explaining that his interest was not only to consolidate the gains of democracy he had brought to the constituency before but to complete a circle.

Trumpets blaring, drums banging amidst a chorus of voices resonating from every corner of the packed venue, it was a scene reminiscent of a Hollywood blockbuster —a testament to how much the IDE,Ogwashi Uku-born Game changer is loved by his people.

In all, it was a day of fanfare, a massive display of love and trust and expression of hope for a better Aniocha/Oshimili by all who graced the historic event on Saturday.

SPON Media denies defection of Pendulum of Anioma politics (Senator Nwaoboshi) to PDP

By: Ike Philip Abiagom

Most Distinguished Senator Peter Onyelukachukwu Nwaoboshi (SPON)

[dropcap]S[/dropcap]enator Peter Onyelukachukwu Nwaoboshi (SPON) Media Team has dismissed claims of returning back to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP by the Senator representing Delta North Senatorial District, and Chairman, Senate Committee on Niger Delta affairs, Most Distinguished Senator Peter Onyelukachukwu Nwaoboshi (SPON) as baseless and untrue.

Nwaoboshi, who defected from the PDP to the All Progressives Congress (APC), in 2021, said he has no plans of returning to his “vomit and those that are peddling this fake news should bury their heads in shame..”

He said: “No reasonable human being will go back to his vomit, the Delta PDP is a disaster. For every human being, there is a journey of life and Nwaoboshi is comfortable and enjoying his stay with APC.”

SPON Media dismisses speculation, says Nwaoboshi has no plans to defect from APC for any other political party. while describing the speculation as nothing but wild imagination that has no factual basis whatsoever and completely untrue.

‘To us, this rumour shows that our leader, Most Distinguished Senator Peter Onyelukachukwu Nwaoboshi (SPON) is the pendulum of Anioma politics, we are excited to see every group in Delta State trying to woe him to their side.

Nwaoboshi remains a loyal party leader and a strong pillar of the Delta State politics who has been tormenting the ruling party (PDP) in Delta State, who are scared of the formidable force of the APC already in place to wrestle power from them come 2023.

The array of friends, associates and even rivals that Senator Nwaoboshi has accumulated remains unmatched, to the extent that he has been a factor in almost every political conversation and every resulting deal over the past two decades.

Nwaoboshi had the convening power to put together alliances for causes and ultimately build a formidable vote-winning machine for the All Progressives Congress (APC), combining with DSP Ovie Omo-Agege’s bloc of million votes from the Delta Central.
“Why would Nwaoboshi defect to the PDP? What has PDP got to offer him? He will never defect to the PDP.He remains committed to the values of the APC.”
