High Chief Nelson Agbamuche, the Odoziani of Akwukwu-Igbo Kingdom is a Philanthropist and one of Nigeria’s high-flying business generals rang in his 50th in style. Today, we celebrate not just the birth of a remarkable individual but the life and legacy of a true beacon of hope and compassion in Chief Nelson Agbamuche’s exemplary character.
The early morning celebration started with a church service at Church of God Mission , Akwukwu-Igbo in Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State, attended by family, friends and Business partners.
Agbamuche famous for his philanthropic heart was treated to a surprise party by a host of celebrity crowd as they toasted his big day with a lavish party at Chief Nelson Agbamuche’s palatial Akwukwu-Igbo home on Sunday.
Beyond your business achievements, you are a philanthropist whose generosity knows no bound. Your efforts to improve the lives of others, especially the less fortunate, have made an indelible mark on your community. Your kindness, empathy, and tireless advocacy for those in need have earned you the respect and admiration from people near and far.
Described as a man of many parts – a successful businessman, politician and philanthropist, Chief Nelson Agbamuche has continued to shine his light on humanity. He has a long history of philanthropy. And he has repeatedly shown that he has a milk of human kindness flowing in his DNA.
His willingness to offer himself for service inspired him to create the Chief Nelson Agbamuche Foundation with his wife, a project that has touched every aspect – education, youth empowerment, business funding, non-interest loans for traders, etc.
From his numerous philanthropic activities through his foundation, Chief Nelson Agbamuche has continued to be a blessing to humanity.
Most Distinguished Senator Peter Nwaoboshi, the Delta North leader of All Progressive Congress APC, Hon. Austin Nnabuife, APC Chairman of Oshimili North Local Government Area and among other top government functionaries as well as technocrats and captains of industries were among those in attendance at the grand reception.
The celebrant, Chief Nelson Agbamuche thanked God for witnessing the day stressing that it is a celebration of God’s favour. The Akwukwu -Igbo Chief who said he was humbled by the large turn out and show of love of friends, family and associates from far and near, thanked all those who personally graced the occasion for finding time to attend. He also thanked members of her political party, the APC for coming together to celebrate with him saying members must remain united as politics is not a do or die affair but a game.
He said, “God has been faithful to me. He has blessed me with good health, good family and grace more than you can imagine. Aside from giving God thanks in my closet, this little gestures to the youths and my followers is also a way of appreciation to God.”
Chief Nelson Agbamuche has in commemoration of his birthday, empowered some persons from Akwukwu- Igbo with the financial supports and the widows were not left out on the birthday as he doles out cash gifts to hundreds of widows to enable them cushion the effect of the hard times at the weekend.
Chief Agbamuche used the opportunity to thank His Royal Majesty, Obi David Azuka, the traditional ruler of Akwukwu-Igbo ,who played a vital role in his life, he said it was His Royal Majesty, Obi David Azuka who introduced and handed him over him to his indefatigable boss Most Distinguished Senator Peter Nwaoboshi, who nurtured and made him what he is today, he said he will always remain grateful to His Royal Majesty and his boss.
Giving his remarks, the Chairman of the occasion, Most Distinguished Senator Peter Nwaoboshi said it was an honour to be a part of the golden celebration of Chief Nelson Agbamuche.
Senator Nwaoboshi who described Agbamuche as a very humble, respectful, generous man and a great politician who has served not just the state well, but the entire people noted that his philanthropic gestures is enjoyed by the people most especially the less privileged.
Other highlights of the event include the cutting of the birthday cake and dance with the celebrant as guests were treated to sumptuous meals.
Some of the guests who spoke with Newsbreeze described Chief Agbamuche as a giver, a man of great virtue that is passionate about the development of his people. While also using the opportunity to congratulate him, they expressed their best wishes praying God to grant him more years in good health to fulfil his destiny.
