The newly appointed National Coordinator of the Tinubu Torch Bearers (TTB), Dr. Ngozi Olejeme, has expressed profound appreciation to the National Women Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Dr. Mary Alile Idele, Ph.D., for entrusting her with the responsibility of leading the grassroots mobilization group dedicated to promoting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda across the country.
Dr. Olejeme described her appointment as a significant step towards strengthening grassroots political engagement, particularly among women and youths, while deepening public support for the policies and programmes of the Tinubu administration.
According to her, the Tinubu Torch Bearers initiative will serve as a strategic platform for mobilizing Nigerians at the grassroots level and creating greater awareness of the Federal Government’s development agenda.
The former Chairman of the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) and former Board Chairman of Trustfund Pensions Plc said she was deeply honoured by the confidence reposed in her by the APC National Women Leader and pledged to justify the trust through effective leadership and nationwide grassroots outreach.
I sincerely thank the APC National Women Leader, Hon. Dr. Mary Alile Idele, for finding me worthy of this important responsibility. This appointment is not only a call to service but also an opportunity to further mobilize women, youths, and other critical stakeholders to support the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, she said.
Dr. Olejeme, who currently serves as Vice President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, described President Tinubu as a visionary leader whose courage, humility, and commitment to national development continue to inspire confidence among Nigerians.
She noted that the President exemplifies the qualities of a leader who combines strength with humility, patience, and strategic foresight, adding that these attributes have contributed significantly to the stability and progress being recorded across the nation.
President Tinubu possesses the qualities of a humble yet determined leader. His administration’s reforms are beginning to yield positive results, laying the foundation for sustainable economic growth and national development. His commitment to transforming Nigeria remains unwavering, she stated.
Dr. Olejeme expressed confidence that President Tinubu would continue to consolidate on the achievements of his administration and deliver enduring benefits for future generations.
The renowned philanthropist and political leader also commended the developmental strides being recorded under various government initiatives, emphasizing the need for Nigerians to remain supportive of policies aimed at strengthening the nation’s economy and promoting social welfare. She called on citizens across the country to embrace unity, peace, and collective responsibility in supporting the Federal Government’s efforts to build a stronger and more prosperous Nigeria.
