[dropcap]D[/dropcap]r Charles Olisa thank you very much. Your observation shows that great awareness was created yesterday and for the first time farmers in this senatorial district are witnessing such empowerment which has never happened in the history of Anioma nation.
Your observation is more of a personal thing the way it is stated, it could be attributed to the increase in Senator Nwaoboshi’s popularity which could be compared to a wild fire due to yesterday’s ground-breaking event. We are very disappointed that somebody of your caliber is not well informed, because you have been busy playing blind-folded politics in the state.
Do you know that before the distribution of the improved yam and maize seedlings a grassroots awareness was created through various medium and town hall meetings for all farmers living in Delta north.
I want to state categorically to Anioma people that the distribution was shared equally through local government leaders irrespective of parties and a monitoring task-force was also created by SPON team to distribute the various seedlings to interior camps, villages and communities that are also in great need of this seedlings.Even as i am replying this rejoinder, our SPON Task-force members are busy distributing to grassroots farmers in the entire Delta North.
Mr. Olisa,we believe that why you have decided to take it personal to attack our Super Senator is because the distribution was not channeled through politicians like you who believes in diversion or short-changing the good people of Anioma. One would have expected you to give Kudos to the best Senator Anioma ever had instead of being a negative critic.
Do you ever expect Senator Nwaoboshi to distribute this improved seedlings without carrying his party along? Senator Nwaoboshi is a seasoned party man who must carry his party and his constituents along in whatever he attracts.
Dr. Olisa, you also advised Senator Nwaoboshi to stop the publicizing of the Ground-breaking empowerment of yesterday, it is amazing that a claimed politician like you should write in that manner. Do you know that good things speak for themselves? You can never cover the shadow of our Super Senator Nwaoboshi.
The publicizing of yesterday’s event by various media houses and social media was out of people’s amazement because they have never seen such representation from our past senators.
Dr Olisa as a baby Politician,You should learn from the political master himself because as of today Most Distinguished Senator Peter Onyelukachukwu Nwaoboshi(SPON)is the official mascot of Anioma identity, history, traditional norms and values.

Most Distinguished Senator Peter Onyelukachukwu Nwaoboshi(SPON)
[dropcap]O[/dropcap]ne man that embodies the salutary impact of the Anioma is Most Distinguished Senator Peter Onyelukachukwu Nwaoboshi(SPON). He stands today as the only and original voice of Anioma (Delta North) at the National Assembly. The official mascot of Anioma identity, history, traditional norms and values. The fearless, courageous, pragmatic, articulate and very outspoken advocacy in the legitimate quest for constitutional clarity over contentious issues, which Senator Nwaoboshi (SPON) has displayed with competent authority, makes his leadership model iconic.
There is no doubt whatsoever that in the last six years of his representation as a senator of Federal Republic of Nigeria, Nigeria have come to embrace and admire Senator Nwaoboshi’s tactical audacity, strategic acumen and the sure-footed administrative astuteness which sets him apart as a visionary leader.
As a chronicler of history, I have to testify that a man who became Senator representing the good people of Delta North Senatorial District in 2015, Most Distinguished Senator Peter Onyelukachukwu Nwaoboshi(SPON), did what many people who become senators in Nigeria don’t often do. He actually impacted on his environment and leaving a legacy for posterity.
High Performing Leaders are vision creators, team builders, task allocators, People Developers, and motivation Stimulators. And this is the kind of leader Senator Peter Onyelukachukwu Nwaoboshi is. Nwaoboshi’s entrance to represent the people of Delta North Senatorial District and his holy anger to turn around the fortune of his land have paid off on his image. The uncommon transformation he brought to bear in the Senatorial District today has made him one of the most popular political image in the country in terms of good representation in Nigeria senate.
This is responsible for hundreds of honours that have been bestowed on him by diverse institutions and groups. The law of harvest is to reap more than you sew. Sow an act, and you reap a habit. Sow a habit and you reap a character. Sow a character and you reap a destiny.
The transformational leadership is the most desired form of leading. It is based on the vision where the leader is an inspiring figure who works with his followers to achieve goals. In the process, everyone helps each other to reach greater levels of achievement. Trust is an essential bond; Transformational leadership has become a fundamental tool,
particularly in the concept of developing one’s community to better the lot of the masses.
One reason why this model(NWAOBOSHI)is a true development concept is his goal emphasis. The relationship between the leader and other members of the team isn’t of primary importance. Such roles and duties exist because there is an outside target that all wish to reach, and so they take their places and undertake their own necessary tasks. Transformational leadership depends on a greater context or meaning, which is something people desire.
Transformative leaders are relentless to the betterment of his people, he is committed and passionate towards the visions he creates to archive greater values. Nwaoboshi has been able to fit in to this kind of leadership mould, from the day one of his role as the representative of the good people of Delta North Senatorial District, his projects have been so gigantic and laudable, which impact on the people enlarge his image to a sublime nature .
Senator Peter Nwaoboshi’s name today is phenomenal among the comity of leaders in the world. From Delta State, the uncommon transformation story has been heard and witnessed by many. This in turn has added value to his person.
Success, they say, has many friends and alias. This as seen in the life of Senator Nwaoboshi, his Party, the All Peoples Congress(APC) says he is their best performing SENATOR.
His appointment as the Senate Committee chairman on Niger Delta Affairs since 2015 till date,is a sign of trust in his potentials. His enthronement to that exalted office was by a consensus decision of the entire Nigeria senate . The good deeds of a man exalt him and make him an unforgettable hero.
Senator Peter Nwaoboshi, the representative of the good people of Delta North Senatorial District , has justified the mandate given to him in 2015 and renewed in 2019 by the Delta North people to represent them. He has performed and still transforming the landscape of the Anioma nation.
In the course of assessing Senator Nwaoboshi, I have heard so many people challenge me with the fact that his successes were attainable because he is the current chairman of Niger Delta Affairs and that his agency derived a lot of funds from the Federal Government. That does not tell the whole story and certainly does not do Nwaoboshi justice, but before Nwaoboshi we have other sons from Anioma who were Senators and held the same position in the past but could not achieved anything for us and rather they failed as senators from Anioma nation.
Before now if the name of my great town Ibusa is heard, the image that immediately comes to the mind is the proverbial 419 PEOPLE, but now it has changed because the name Nwaoboshi is synonyms to political success. In one generation, Nwaoboshi has succeeded in recreating the Ibusa personality and character and positioning it to be at the centre of a national re-awakening. You can now feel proud if you are from Ibusa because Senator Peter Nwaoboshi as our political enigma has affected the lives of Ibusa people and rebranded the name -Ibusa.
As Ibusa born politician of the 21st generation,His achievements as a lawmaker stand out and it is my privilege to identify with him. In the Senate class of 2015 and 2019, my Most Distinguished Senator, with the evidence on ground, Nwaoboshi will take the top prize because he belonged to a different class. This may sound preposterous, but it is no joke. When Philip told Nathaneal that he had met the Messiah and that it was Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Nathaneal, asked “Can any good thing come out of Nazareth?” Philip did not enter into any argument with him, he simply advised him “Come and see.”
We are not in any argument with those who wonder whether any good thing can come out of our Most Distinguished Senator Peter Nwaoboshi?. We are not convincing people that our dear town Ibusa and entire Anioma has been transformed by this Political Messiah or respond to the demagogic rhetoric and hypocritical lies of those who have had their consciences scared with the fiery irons of falsehood and bigotry. We came to say to you to “Come and see.”the hand work of our most Distinguished Senator Peter Nwaoboshi all over Anioma land.
Testimonies are being given from all facets of the Delta North society, including traditional rulers, Politicians, Civil Servants, churches have all testified to this uncommon transformation strides.Students, are not left out; even the opposing political parties confirmed his proactive representation at the red chambers.
The entire Anioma people will continue to pray for the Almighty God to grants him good health to enjoy the rest of his days. We also wish Our Leader the wisdom like that of King Solomon to continue to play his excellent leadership role for his Anioma people, the state and the nation in general. Amen.

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he member representing Delta North Senatorial District in the Senate Arm of the National Assembly and Chairman, Senate Committee on Niger Delta Affairs,Most Distinguished Senator Peter Onyelukachukwu Nwaoboshi (SPON)on Friday called on Nigerians to join hands with the present administration to make the country great again, by supporting its policies and programmes aimed at restoring full security across the country and revamping the economy.
In his New Year message released in Asaba,Senator Nwaoboshi congratulated Nigerians, at home and abroad, who survived the various difficulties experienced in the just ended year and are witnessing the beginning of a new year. He also prayed to God to give fortitude and strength to those who lost their loved ones due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the brutal acts of terrorists, kidnappers and other criminals as well as to families of security agents who died in active service.
As Nigerians, we have a lot to be thankful for in 2021, and much more to look forward to in 2022. I personally thank all Deltans and Nigerians for the honor and privilege to serve you as a Senator. You have shown me love and affection. You challenged my ideas, actions and in actions, thereby, giving me new ideas and directions. For all of this, I am humbled and sincerely thankful.
The year 2021 was full of memorable events in our lives as an individual and collectively as a nation. I know as much as you do that our nation is passing through tough challenging times socially, politically and economically. The insecurity and economic instability of our dear nation in the last one year have threatened our national unity and heightened our worries and concerns. There has been serious awakening among Nigerians in the state of the polity than ever before. With no doubt, this has taken us many steps ahead to our fortune as a nation. Having come this far, I strongly believe the darkest hour of the night is behind us and the dawn is just about to break off.
As a Distinguished Senator of the Federal Republic, I have been privileged to interact with youths, women, men, artisans, professionals and non- professionals alike whom we shared our hopes and desires for our country, Nigeria and to this end, it has really been delightful, I must confess. With more to come in this new year, there is need to put all machinery in motion to reduce unemployment rate by aiding our teeming youth into public , private enterprises and to be self sustained.
We can only overcome our challenges if we remain resolute in fighting for what is right and doing the right things. We should ensure the coming general elections is peaceful, free, fair and credible. All of us should abhor any illegal or violent activity.
“We need to also remember our fellow countrymen and women in troubled areas of the country and pray to God to restore peace in all the nooks and cranny of the country, defeat insurgency and successfully restore the displaced people to their homestead.
“Let us engage people in government in constructive criticisms as against hate speech and campaign of calumny.
“In the new year, we must imbibe good moral conduct in our daily pursuits for the sake of peace and unity”.
Nwaoboshi added that the New Year presents another opportunity to write a new success story for the country by Working to Make Nigeria Great Again.
Hon. Leo Nkeaka distributing xmas gifts to his people
[dropcap]A[/dropcap]n Asaba based Real Estate mogul,Politician, and Philanthropist,Hon.Leo Nkeaka, who is fond of putting smiles on the faces of the less privileged and who has always advocated for people to cultivate the habit of giving unconditionally, has celebrated Christmas and New Year with residents of Ward 8 in Ibusa of Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State.
In the spirit of Christmas and New Year Celebrations, Hon.Leo Nkeaka distributed over two million naira, including 500 bags of rice,1000 live chicken, 500 wrappers and other items to different groups in Ibusa, including the less privileged, elders of Ward 8,women, widows, disabled, hospital patients, traders, among others.
The items were distributed when he hosted youths, leaders, widows and family members to a Christmas party in his family Country home at Umueze-Ibusa, Oshimili North Local Government Area had over 2000 beneficiaries from the entire Ward 8 in Ibusa rejoicing over the magnanimity of the philanthropist, whom they said gave them hope of celebrating the birth of Christ like other families every year.
Earlier before the onset of the Yuletide, Hon.Leo Nkeaka had distributed N10,000 each to more than 50 people of Umueze extraction, while others received either N15,000, N20,000 or N50,000, depending on the size of their families, even as more than 100 people were randomly gifted N2,000 each, either at home, market or on the street.
Also, being of the Leo Nkeaka matrilineal family,Nkeaka distributed bags of rice and cash gifts to executive members of Nkeaka, who visited him on Christmas day (as they usually do every yuletide).
Christmas largesse for Distribution
On social media, many Deltans are still showering praises on Leo Nkeaka as more than 100 Facebook users benefited airtime of different denominations and networks from the humanitarian, including MTN, Airtel, Glo and 9Mobile.
Even members of his staff were not left out in the Christmas largesse as Nkeaka randomly distributed bags of rice to them, with a sick staff receiving N25, 000 to help in offsetting her hospital bills.
Meanwhile, in support of her husband’s humanitarian gesture, his wife equally distributed over 100 wrappers to widows of Umueze extraction, irrespective of their communities.
In an exclusive chat with Newsmen, the philanthropist, Hon. Leo Nkeaka, said that he was moved to remember the widows, his Political Ward 8 and less privileged this yuletide because it is a season of giving and showing love as he loves giving back to society and not for political reasons.
He said: “The distribution of these bags of rice,500 Rappers, 1000 chicken, cartoons of tin tomatoes and cash is borne out of the need to express love to our people, particularly widows and the disabled persons in seasons like this. It is our modest contribution to our immediate environment and a way of giving back to society. After all, we rise by lifting others. Recently too, we’ve been into a few of similar gestures for other strata of the society. We intend to do more in due course.
“Nevertheless, my advice to my people of Ward 8 this Xmas is that as we go about our merriment, let us not forget the essence of the season; to show love to one another and put smiles on as many faces as possible. We do not need to own the world to be able to lend a helping hand. Let the popular proverb that a bone to the dog is not charity, that charity is a bone shared with the dog when you’re as hungry as it is, always be our watchword.”
[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he member representing Delta North Senatorial District in the Senate Arm of the National Assembly and Chairman, Senate Committee on Niger Delta Affairs,Most Distinguished Senator Peter Onyelukachukwu Nwaoboshi (SPON) has felicitated with Christians across the country on the occasion of this year’s Christmas and Boxing Day celebrations while calling on them to use the period to pray for peace, unity and progress of the nation.

“Jesus Christ who we all know to be the reason for this season preached peace and therefore it is the responsibility of all Nigerians to use this period to rededicate ourselves to working to restore peace in our country by being kind to each other and being our brother’s keeper.
“We should use this period to pray to God to restore peace in the troubled areas of our country and our personal lives. We should pray to God to stop all acts that lead to blood shed. We should avoid actions and statements which set one part of the country against the other and one person against his neighbour or brother.
“Every Nigerian should get set to emulate the good deeds, character and aspiration of Jesus Christ because that is what can help our country to develop and ensure that we all enjoy as citizens. We should be moderate in our celebrations at this period and avoid actions that violate the law of the land or further create crisis.
“I wish all Nigerians a Merry Christmas, a pleasurable Boxing Day and I pray to God to protect all of us as we get ready to end 2021 peacefully and begin a new year with so much hope and God’s blessing”, Nwaoboshi stated.

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he Delta State Police command has confirmed that the traditional ruler (Ugoani) of Okpanam Kingdom, Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State, Dr Mbanefo Ogbolu was not kidnapped as earlier speculated.
Rather, the monarch was arrested by police operatives from the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) of the Nigerian Police Force, Abuja, the state police public relations officer DSP Bright Edafe has said.
“Rumour has it that Ogoani of Okpanam was kidnapped. Please and please he was not kidnapped but arrested by police operatives from FCID,” Edafe revealed, adding that it is only the FCID that can explain why the monarch was nabbed.
However, the arrest may not be unconnected with the sale of land in the community.
Following the manners the king was arrested, tension was high in Okpanam community as youths took to the streets in a motorcade to announce what they described as a sacrilegious act.
The youths said the monarch was reportedly abducted on his way from church by the suspects who operated in a Toyota Sienna.
Sources said the royal father did not resist the suspects who led him into the Sienna car and zoomed off to an unknown destination.
As a result, youths of the community took to the streets in a motorcade to announce what they described as a sacrilegious act to residents, urging them to close shop until the king was found.
This is even as palace chiefs of the kingdom derided the action of the suspected abductors, saying that traditional rulers have become soft targets for kidnappers especially in the neighbouring South-East zone of the country.
Speaking at the palace, Dominic Anyasi, a senior chief issued a 24-hour ultimatum for the monarch to be produced.
