A Tribute to My Wife Nkechi Maryam Mordi – Ojokojo

late Mrs Nkechi Maryam Mordi

[dropcap]I[/dropcap]t is hard to accept the death of a loved one, especially when you didn’t have the chance to say goodbye, especially when the deceased was taken so suddenly and so shockingly at the prime of life and most especially when it seems like an irreplaceable part of ones life is gone.

The grief and pain can be unbearable; you cry a river and your sorrow knows no end. You never really know what it’s like until you are there yourself, but you look to God because he is the only one who can comfort you.

Death and indeed a death so sudden and painful like the death of my wife on 18th February 2020 , since you left this wick world 1,095 days ago, makes me realize the brevity of life. It brought clearly to the fore the thin line between life and death. We often take life for granted, too much so.

Her death has made me sit down and reflect. It has made me put things in perspective. I am still in a state of shock.

Nkechi was my friend, my colleague, my sister, my companion, my partner and my wife.

She gave up her career to support our children and create a happy home for me to make a success of my career. I gave so much time to my profession and less time to her in the last 10 years and she accepted it with equanimity. I always figured that we still have plenty of time ahead of us to catch up after the children and grandchildren are on their own. I wish I could go back in time.

Having you in my life, was the best dream come true. Since you have left this world, words cannot describe the emptiness inside me. I get so lost without you but I am sure you are with the Lord. You are with angels singing and praising the almighty whom you served while on earth with all your heart. You can no longer be seen by human eye, but your soul and love that you gave so many will never die.

Since you are with the angels, please we ( our children and I ) need you as our guide and intercessor in heaven.

I wish I could tell myself that you will be back someday and will be back to be with me again. I guess this is the way life goes. God’s will must be accepted.

I miss a million things, every detail of who you are. I miss your mind , body and soul.

I still say I am one lucky man to have been given the gift of you.

There are many things I think I should have done for you. Please forgive me for procrastinating.

You thought me so much by your actions in the time we spent together.

You thought me the value of a family. You thought the value of the truest of love.

I know that I should not question God obviously because he He knows and has His reasons but I can’t help constantly asking myself “ Why did you have to die”? We have a number of dreams we hoped we will realize. You served God fervently. Anyway God knows best.

I take it you are the best of the roses in the garden and the almighty wants the best.

I know what you will love to hear and see and I will endeavor to always do those things.

I wonder if I had lived the way you did, if God would have taken me too?

They say only the good die in their prime.

I promised to take good care of the kids you left behind  for me with all my heart .

Nkechi I miss the wonderful plans we made. The memories we shared will never fade.

Farewell my darling.

Good night.

Hon. Henry Mordi
aka Ojokojo

Celebrating the Birthday of an Iconic Ibusa Son

By: Ike Philip Abiagom

PST. Chukwudi Idowu Okeze

[dropcap]G[/dropcap]reatness is a property for which no man can receive credit too soon; it must be possessed long before it is acknowledged. “When one of the world’s greatest thinkers, Ralph Waldo Emerson handed down the above words of wisdom, those he had in mind were certainly the likes of Pst. Chukwudi Idowu Okeze.

The true worth of a man is in the way he treats people who are absolutely in need. If you care about people in need, you are actually making a contribution to the development of the nation. We need to give life back to the people. We need to see how we can use the available resources for everybody; create opportunities for all and care, especially for those who are truly in need. The gap between the rich and the poor should be bridged. Those of us blessed with material resources need to share with others. We must strike a balance with our resources.” This is the Philosophy of Pst. Chukwudi Idowu Okeze.

It is certainly impossible to gloss over the attributes for greatness of Pst. Chukwudi Idowu Okeze, the trail-blazing Public Servant mogul par excellence from Ibusa, Delta State. Idowu’s rise to the top was not a one-step movement. It was a humble beginning for a humble man. The inter play of factors that would establish him as one of Nigeria’s reputable Public Servant mogul shaped. Okeze’s principle and philosophy of life and humility, honesty and hard work. His unassuming nature and infectious humility explain why he does not trumpet his numerous philanthropic gestures.
Pst. Chukwudi Idowu Okeze, a philanthropist whose passion for human development is immeasurable, recently celebrated his 50TH birthday where he expressed his joy of living a fulfilled life. The great icon who could not hide his excitement revealed how rising by lifting others gave him joy and how impacting other people positively had made him an achiever.

“The greatness of a man is not in how much wealth he acquires but in his integrity and his ability to affect those around him positively.

“So, achievements generally could not necessarily be achievements in terms of material things. There is a way I look at achievement.

Indeed, to those who know him up close and personal, Pst. Chukwudi Idowu Okeze is an enigma: humble, self-effacing, industrious, practical, efficient by nature, diligent, always thinking about things he needs to accomplish or how to get ahead on his next assignment, a complete Aquarius, if you care to assess him by his Zodiac sign. But in plain terms, he is a case of a man who set out to always make a difference wherever he found himself. Not the kind of difference other men pursue to grandstand, but the type that impacts humanity and makes life easier for people. And of this, his track record is unassailable. A look back at his trajectory gives a chronicle of exemplary service to his community and a profile of pure patriotism from an individual.

Pst. Chukwudi Idowu Okeze is one of those very few good men;a true philanthropist, an accomplished Public Servant, An Iconic Figure, a grassroots man, a promoter of Peace in whom I am well pleased ,a man of valour, the bringer of rain. In the gallery of great leaders and great men, he is without doubt, a rare masterpiece. Anyone who encounters him would love to associate with him for his candour, courage and forthrightness. As a human being, his humility and modesty is second to none. As an Public Servant, he is sound and engaging.

Pst. Chukwudi Idowu Okeze, he means different things to different people; to his wife and children, he is a loving husband and the best kind daddy, while to us his admirers he is known as the Digital Public Strategist but his detractors always erroneously see him as an Obstacle because of his rising profile in Public Service and acceptance by the grassroots.

Pst. Chukwudi Idowu Okeze is not only the Pride of Okeze’s but also the Pride of the People of Ibusa for whom he had waged countless humanitarian wars for and won virtually all, just like the Greek mythological Odyssey who fought and won difficult battles in History. Indeed the birthday celebration of this digital Public Servant of our time had been useful and Resourceful for his service to humanity. Therefore today let me on behalf of the Grassroots Publishers Online and Newsbreeze Magazine join the rest of my beloved Ibusa kingdom to Celebrate our iconoclastic Pst. Chukwudi Idowu Okeze, to thank Almighty God for attending the Golden year of his life and to pray that he continues to bless him with robust health ,protection, and enduring provision. Your reign shall bring prosperity and peace to Ibusa and your family.

Happy birthday to the regent, a Man with a good heart.

Why APC,Omo-Agege will win 2023 elections – Hon. Philips

By: Philip Ike Abiagom,Benson Nwoko & Linda Arihi

Hon. Nonye Philips

[dropcap]G[/dropcap]reatness is a property for which no man can receive credit too soon; it must be possessed long before it is acknowledged. “When one of the world’s greatest thinkers, Ralph Waldo Emerson handed down the above words of wisdom, those he had in mind were certainly the likes of Hon. Kingsley Nonye Philips .
For the trail-blazing Political mogul from Ika South in Delta State, it is certainly impossible to gloss over his attributes for greatness. He is the embodiment of cerebral articulation, the essence of unparalleled philanthropy, the epitome of intellection and breathtaking simplicity, the personification of undiluted humanness, the perfect example of political leadership symbolism, the paragon of idealism, the soul of humanity, the heart of warrior, a perfect gentleman. In the gallery of great leaders and great men, he is without doubt, a rare masterpiece. Anyone who encounters Hon. Kingsley Nonye Philips would love to associate with him for his candour, courage and forthrightness. As a human being, his humility and modesty is second to none. As a politician, he is sound and engaging.
In this exclusive interview with the lion of Ika South politics, Former member of Delta State House of Assembly and Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Hon. Kingsley Nonye Philips, has said that Delta State governorship candidate of All Progressives Congress, APC, DSP Ovie Omo-Agege will have an easy ride to victory in the 2023 general elections. He noted that the APC and Omo-Agege have the required competence, capacity, and acceptance to retain power at all time.

What makes you feel that DSP. Ovie Omo-Agege is a better option to take over from Governor Okowa?

DSP. Omo-Agege is a flagbearer with records of good governance and performance to rule Delta State. He is the best candidate to govern Delta State come 2023 because he is intelligent and proactive, infact he is a presidential material. To describe my leader,DSP Ovie Omo-Agege,“a tested and trusted leader” who is going into the race as an achiever.in a single piece, could be herculean. You will need to juggle the brain because he is a man of many parts, and you do not know from where to begin! But like a popular axiom says, a day begins a story.A lot has been said, written and, perhaps, recorded about this enigmatic personage that has become a household name across Delta State, Nigeria and even to other parts of the world. There is unarguably no part of the country that his name does not ring a bell.“Governorship contest is for somebody with capacity to deliver and Omo-Agege represents that. In fact, He has more projects in Delta Central as a Senator than the governor has done, not to talk about the Federal Polytechnic that he attracted , fully equipped and fully constructed. what of the National War College, his people are very happy with him.

Not necessarily. Any good political marketer will tell you the ease of selling a good product. Those from Delta Central back home are in a better position to tell you the impact the PDP-led Delta State Government has made and that of Omo-Agege senator representing them. For me ipsa loquitur (the fact speaks for itself).PDP has not clothed itself in glory in the last 16 years. Omo-Agege has shown that he can bring the much needed transformation in Delta State if Deltans vote him in as governor. Look at Rivers and Akwa Ibom States and what they have achieved in the last 16 years. How much revenue did they and Delta State earn within this period? I just feel the problem with Delta State it is lack of good leadership. Omo-Agege will be a good governor. He has proved that with his performance in the senate.

Hon. Nonye Philips

Delta State APC said Gov. Okowa wasted Anioma 8 years as Delta State governor, is it because of the Unpaid pensions, gratuities?

Yes, he wasted good eight years for Anioma people. Lets start with the pension -do you know that as we speak, some of them, eight, nine and ten years out of government, have not been paid anything. Some of them have died, and some are dying, they protest every day. They are bitter because they know that so much money has come to the state. Their bitterness is fueled by the fact that they now believe that we are not a poor state, and we have never been a poor state considering all the receipts. How much will it take to retire these pensions? But their bitterness is fueled by their belief that Delta is not a poor state, has never been a poor state, consuming all of these receipts. The monies are being channeled elsewhere. Most people alleged that they’re being channeled to funding a political campaign, as opposed to deploying the resources for the beneficial use of the people, most especially these pensioners.

What can you say about the two APC Senators from Delta State?

DSP. Ovie Omo-Agege and Senator Peter Nwaoboshi are the two APC Senators that touched the lives of everyone, every community and village in their various senatorial districts. In the past, senators celebrate and commission few projects that they have done. we can’t even count their projects. They set out to lit up the entire senatorial(Delta Central and North)districts as you are seeing street lights, transformers, reconstructing and renovating schools, building new classroom blocks, doing drainage and shore protection, and providing potable water. They all came from him and we have this in every village, community and town.
In fact, Omo-Agege has done more projects in Delta Central as a Senator than the governor has done, not to talk about the Federal Polytechnic that was attracted here, fully equipped and fully constructed. He also bought National War College, and His districts are very happy with him.
In Delta North Constituency, Senator Nwaoboshi has proved to everybody that he is a guru, do you know that 60% of the roads constructed in Delta North are been attracted and executed by NDDC through Senator Nwaoboshi but Gov. Okowa nickname himself “Road Master”. I was driving along cemetery road in Ika North-East the other day and it was looking so beautify and when I asked question, people told me that it was Senator Nwaoboshi that tarred the road. For Senator Peter Nwaoboshi, he is the best senator ever represented Delta North. Governor Okowa, Senator Osakwe and other Anioma senators all fail without a positive report card to show our people.

Sir, Is Ika South APC now a one united family ?

We are one family and united to win the coming election. Ika South would deliver 98 percent of votes to the candidates of the ruling All Progressives Congress(APC).I promised that no stone would be left unturned to ensure its victory at the polls at all levels. “We will work tirelessly, we will ensure that we leave no stone unturned, we will do whatever it takes because APC in Ika South is the pride of APC in Delta State and we cannot afford to let APC family down. “As for the unity of the party, there is no one here who has any doubt, we have a united party…We are brothers and sisters here. We will continue to be one.”

Ahead of the 2023 presidential election, some opposition party said that the ruling performed below average, what is your stake sir?

No normal Nigerian will say that this government of President Buhari performed below average, do you know that this government is the best in  infractural development in the history of Nigeria? where will i start from, can we talk of the second Niger Bridge or the recent project President Buhari commissioned in Kano State. I was going through some of my documents and saw a newspaper publication of Observer of 1973 written by my late father of Blessed Memory calling on the Nigeria government to shoot all the corrupt people and their is another newspaper publication of 1983 where Nigerians are saying that hunger and corruption have taking over the land, my question is that is there anytime Nigerians will ever tell you that they are enjoying? we only appreciate our leaders only when there are out of office. APC government headed by President Buhari has set up a solid foundation for a new Nigeria.

What’s your assessment of the quality of debate among presidential candidates?

As far as I am concerned, the quality of debate among those jostling for the presidency is absolute rubbish. It is as if we do not realize that this country is in serious danger and that the number one challenge confronting the nation is insecurity. Lets look at Atiku for instance who is a fulani and from the northern Nigeria and President Buhari a fulani man from the same area is rounding up his eight years tenure and another fulani man from same northern Nigeria wants to continue, You and I know that it is not possible or do they want to bring disunity in this country? it is totally unacceptable to Nigerians. The entire southern part of Nigeria are very disappointed that Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa is backing another fulani man to take over from President Buhari because of his selfish interest, infact I don’t think that he is normal. If you compare the three popular candidates , Bola Tinubu has edge above them because he is intelligent, innovative, tested and trusted. Tinubu is not in the same class with Atiku Abubakar, even Peter Obi with due respect cannot be compared with Tinubu, because Obi was a dictator when he governed Anambra State as he refused to conduct local government election during his tenure as governor, but all know the history of Bola Tinbu in Lagos and how he created additional twenty local government Council. Tinubu is a class of his own.
“Nigeria can not afford to gamble this time; by making a wrong choice. Good enough, Tinubu has already defined his own self-centered philosophy, focusing on himself and his empire. This self-agenda can only be a recipe for further fragmentation and alienation in a country that requires a fast recovery from narrow pursuits.
As a former member of the Delta State House of Assembly, am appealing to Nigerians and Deltans to cast their votes for the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and DSP Ovie Omo-Agege . As we all know that the current realities in Nigeria demand and require that Nigerians embrace only a candidate who has the right qualities to steer the affairs of the nation. We should not let the golden opportunity of voting Tinubu as President Muhammadu Buhari’s successor slip off our hands, “Going by the current socio-political cum economic realities of our nation, if we must truthfully and objectively agree with the true state of our nation, without shreds of sentiments, agree that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed is the right candidate to steer the affairs of the nation come 2023.”
The records of the former governor of Lagos State lays more credence to his ability to help Nigeria navigate the current challenges which it is currently facing.
“His trajectory into the state of the nation has seen him become an indefatigable individual who has always supported and pursued proper governance and quality representation.
“A broad minded, broadly connected and broadly accepted candidate like Tinubu, who has his ears to the ground everywhere, his nose for good governance and his eyes on socio-economic transformation is what Nigeria needs at this point of its evolution.
“Tinubu is the soothing balm for the healing of the broken trust, the battered economy and the bacterized political fabric of Nigeria.”

NWAOBOSHI: “EFCC PLAYING TO THE GALLERY, SENATOR SURRENDERED SELF” – SPON MEDIA TEAM

By Andrew Ajewole

Distinguished Senator Peter Nwaoboshi

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he Senator Peter Nwaoboshi Media team, SPON has refuted the reports allegedly circulated by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, signed by the Commission’s Spokesperson, Wilson Uwujaren, and published by a section of the Nigerian Media that, the Senator representing Delta North Senatorial district, was bursted and hounded into correctional centre saying, its a mere propaganda unbecoming of a supposed respectable organisation.

This was revealed in a statement by the Head of SPON Media Team, Philip Elueme, and released in Abuja, Friday to our correspondent noting that, nothing could be farther from the truth arguing that the high ranking Senator who is a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC surrendered himself even right from the time of conviction by the Appeal Court, even as he was not in court when convicted, “which in itself is legally perverse.”

For whatever reason, the image maker of the Senator noted that the anti graft agency chose to play to the gallery by misrepresenting facts to drive home its vendetta against a “law abiding gentleman and lawmaker for that matter” with intent to disparage him by dispensing falsehood to create wrong impression in unsuspecting members of the public.

Recall that, the Court of Appeal sitting in Lagos had convicted the Senator on a 2-count charge on July 1, 2022 at the heels of the judgement delivered by the Justice Chukwujeku Aneke, of a Federal High Court sitting in Lagos which discharge and acquitted him on same counts brought by the anti graft agency with 322 million naira at the centre of the money laundering allegation, contrary to 850 million naira being bandied by the agency.

“The distinguished Senator and two others filed appeal at the supreme court, Abuja, against the judgement of the court of Appeal, which is still pending.”

However, as against the claim by the EFCC that it arrested the Senator from his hidden place, the Media team holds that the Senator shortly after his conviction surrendered himself to the Ikoyi Correctional Centre but was refused entry by the authority on the ground that the Service was not in possession of his detention warrant from the court.

Thereafter, Elueme stressed further that, the embattled Senator who is the Chairman of the Senate committee on Niger Delta Affairs, went again but for the second time refused entry into the custodial centre due to same reason maintaining that the statement issued and signed by Uwujaren was in bad light and ill conceived saying at no point did Nwaoboshi evade detention. “Could he have gone into the correctional facility without a duly procured detention warrant or defiantly imprison himself?”

According to the statement, Senator Nwaoboshi was admitted to the hospital where he had been receiving treatment and at no time was his whereabout unknown to the EFCC who had visited him there previously, saying, neither has he any intention to evade imprisonment.

The Media team averred that:

“The attention of the Senator Peter Nwaoboshi Media Team has been drawn to a news report initiated by the the Spokesperson of the EFCC as reported by a section of the media to wit: “850m Scam: Nwaoboshi Lands In Prison.

“We wish to state as follows:
Senator Nwaoboshi, contrary to false impression from his persecutors was never evasive and on many instances presented himself to the correctional center but was declined access because EFCC knowingly or ignorantly failed to obtain the needed remand warrant from the Court.

“It was at the prompting of the distinguished Senator through his lawyers that the Remand warrant was procured on the 7th February in Lagos. Attempts made by the senator, even through his lawyers to procure this same warrant, was not possible since they were told it was not in their place to process the document.

“We challenge the EFCC to exhibit the date on the Remand Order and tell the world why it took them 7 months after the judgement of the court of appeal to obtain a remand warrant. The truth is incontrovertible and we invite the EFCC and it’s co-travelers to controvert this position.” The February 8 dated-letter states in part.

Pointedly, the Media Team called on the teaming followers of the Senator and the Nigerian public not to pander to the propaganda machinery and the media trial of the EFCC noting that, on no account did Nwaoboshi attempt to evade imprisonment.

RE: N805 Scam: Finally Sen Nwaoboshi lands in Prison”

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he attention of the Sen. Peter Nwaoboshi media was drawn to the above captioned news report.

We wish to state as follows:

“Senator Nwaoboshi contrary to impression from his persecutors was never evasive and on many instances presented himself to the correctional centers but was declined access because EFCC knowingly or ignorantly failed to obtain the needed remand warrant from the Federal High Court.

It was at the prompting of the Distinguished Senator that the Remand warrant was procured yesterday 7th February in Lagos. We challenge the EFCC To exhibit the date on the remand Order and tell the world why it took them 7 months after the judgement of the court of appeal to obtain a remand warrant. The truth is sacred and we invite the EFCC and their fellow travelers to controvert this position.

Celebrating A Great Philanthropist; Godwin Achor Nonyelim On His Birthday

By: Ike Philip Abiagom

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he true worth of a man is in the way he treats people who are absolutely in need. We must strike a balance with our resources.” This is the Philosophy of Elder Onyeachor Nonyalim. It is certainly impossible to gloss over the attributes for greatness of Elder Acho Nonyalim, the founding Chairman,Junic Group of Companies, the trail-blazing Real Estate mogul par excellence from Ibusa,Delta State. Acho’s rise to the top was not a one-step movement. It was a humble beginning for a humble man. The inter play of factors that would establish him as one of Nigeria’s reputable real Estate mogul shaped Acho’s principle and philosophy of life and business-humility, honesty and hard work. His unassuming nature and infectious humility explain why he does not trumpet his numerous philanthropic gestures

Elder Godwin Achor Nonyelim, a philanthropist whose passion for human development is immeasurable, recently celebrated his birthday where he expressed his joy of living a fulfilled life. The great icon who could not hide his excitement revealed how rising by lifting others gave him joy and how impacting other people positively had made him an achiever. Many will spend their lifetime trying to figure out rules to living, however, Godwin Achor Nonyelim not only figured them out but has been living them for almost two decades now.

“The greatness of a man is not in how much wealth he acquires but in his integrity and his ability to affect those around him positively.

“So, achievements generally could not necessarily be achievements in terms of material things. There is a way I look at achievement.

“How many people have you impacted in life? How have you changed situations around you? These are areas where one needs to perform well before he is called an achiever.

“We have been able to give scholarships to different people, especially indigent people. We have also been able to train people who are graduates” Achor said. He demonstrates the exact meaning of living by using his talent to serve the world and leaving a lasting impression while serving and mainly a positive impact on the causes that matter to the powerful.

It was gathered that Elder Nonyelim through his pet project, Junic Foundation a charity organization established purposely to give scholarship to indigent students at Ibusa & Oshimili North at large from primary to university level has largely done such.

“I feel fulfilled. I am so grateful to God for keeping me alive today. I have lost some friends. Even at the age of 40, some died. I have lost close friends who didn’t get to 50 but for me, the most precious thing God has done for me is keeping me alive and healthy to attain this day.

“I know he will continue to keep me until I am 100 years old. I have achieved a lot in life. I have done so well in my area of discipline and other areas. God has been so kind to me and things have been working so perfectly for me by God grace”

“Excellence, a rare quality possessed by a few in the society, an ideal that stands out the few, making them exemplary and quintessential in all facts.” he added.

Godwin Achor Nonyelim, (CEO) of Junic Group, is the brain behind Junic Properties & Development Ltd, a frontline real estate firm with properties spread across Nigeria.

Elder Nonyelim is a real estate magnate & a phylantropic doyen. He is the founder, Junic foundation and one of the billionaires who rose from the scratch and became very influential, successful and a major player in real estate within Nigeria and beyond.

Achor has sponsored & trained many who aspire for professional course in Engineering, pharmacy, medicine & nursing. His philanthropic magnanimity across Aniocha/Oshimili zone earned him the unique title “Ife Oma Chukwu me na Ibusa ” which means the good thing that happened to Ibusa for the main reason that he doesn’t discriminate when he wants to give, he see’s everyone as one.

He has provided quality provided jobs for Delta youths and most importantly provided financial assistance to local traders and nursing mother’s in rural areas. He is a notable philanthropist whose humanitarian acts and deeds have brought considerable succour to many. He has also won many awards and honours.

“As you all know that his birthday,is always symbolic with gifting, paying hospital bills, and other valuable items to worthy and deserving individuals”

Godwin Acho Nonyelim is a blessing to this generation, his passion for human capital development is unparalleled.

Omo-Agege’s Campaign Train hit Ibusa,Akwukwu-Igbo and Okpanam

By: Ike Philip Abiagom

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he Electorates in Oshimil North local government Area have over time demonstrated its unflinching resolve to identify with APC. That accounts for the bandwagon effect among politicians as the party is seen as the most viable vehicle for achieving political aspiration. Delta North electorates will not allow the PDP elements who come in the guise of messiahs, but are really traitors are grouping again to deceive Deltans. We must be vigilant, identify, name and point at them. They should be exposed and stopped so that they will not jeopardize us further.

Thus, the Oshimili North chapter of the APC party made efforts to convince the All Progressives Congress (APC)Governorship Candidate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege,his deputy, Hon. Friday Osanebi and the gracious voyage of Senator Peter Onyelukachukwu Nwaoboshi Campaign Organisation(SPONCO)which was led by the chairman, Prof. Leroy Edozien and accompanied by the APC House of Representatives,Aniocha / Oshimili Federal Constituency, Dr Tony Nwaka,APC Candidate for Oshimili North House of Assebly, Hon. Louis Ndukwe, among others elicited earth-quaking applause from the enthusiastic crowd of fans and party faithful from all over Delta State during the visit that Akwu-Uku Igbo,Ibusa and Okpanam are 98% APC even though some observers believe that the 2023 election will be a keen contest between APC and his major opponent from the PDP.

Thus, people from all parts of the wards and beyond trooped to the venues for the event. It was a carnival of sorts as the teeming members of the party in different APC regalia danced to the expansive arena. The singers intermittently sang praises of Senator Peter Nwaoboshi,DSP Ovie Omo- Agege and all the APC candidates.

The rally also had in attendance the All Progressives Congress (APC) Chieftains and the entire members of Senator Peter Onyelukachukwu Nwaoboshi Campaign Organisation(SPONCO) Director General, Evangelist Moses Kamanya,Chief Austin Izagbo,Oshimili North APC Chairman, Hon. Austin Nnabuife,Elegant Ada Jesus,Chief Nelson Agbamuche,Odoziani 1 of Akwukwu- Igbo,Dr Ben Iwezue, Barr. Alex Onwudiamu,(Deputy Chief of Staff to Deputy Senate President),Hon.Henry Mordi aka Ojokojo,Ambrose Elofu Dike,Hon.Peter Okocha,Chief Iyke Nwoko,(Iyke Computers)Austin Nwaoboshi, Hon.
