Sir Uti has seen the valley and been to the mountain in the course of life. We must always be ready to brace up for the valley, much as we are enthusiastic about ascending the mountain. We must always ask God to put us at the centre of His will whichever way life’s vicissitude takes us.

[dropcap]G[/dropcap]reatness is a property for which no man can receive credit too soon; it must be possessed long before it is acknowledged.”When one of the world’s greatest thinkers, Ralph Waldo Emerson handed down the above words of wisdom, those he had in mind were certainly the likes of Sir Fidelis Uti (Nna Oha)! .
Indeed, to those who know him up close and personal, Sir Fidelis Uti (Nna Oha)is an enigma: humble, great historian self-effacing, industrious, practical, efficient by nature, diligent, Encyclopedia of Igbuzo History, always thinking about things he needs to accomplish or how to get ahead on his next assignment, a complete Aquarius, if you care to assess him by his Zodiac sign. But in plain terms, he is a case of a man who set out to always make a difference wherever he found himself. Not the kind of difference other men pursue to grandstand, but the type that impacts humanity and makes life easier for people. And of this, his track record is unassailable. A look back at his trajectory gives a chronicle of exemplary service to his community and a profile of pure patriotism from an individual.
Sir Fidelis Uti (Nna Oha) is one of those very few good men; a true philanthropist, an accomplished Educationist, An Iconic Figure, Traditional Strategist, A leader, A promoter of Peace in whom I am well pleased ,a man of valour, the bringer of rain. In the gallery of great leaders and great men, he is without doubt, a rare masterpiece. Anyone who encounters him would love to associate with him for his candour, courage and forthrightness. As a human being, his humility and modesty is second to none. As an educationist, he is sound and engaging.
Sir Fidelis Uti and his Wife
Sir Fidelis Uti (Nna Oha) means different things to different people; to his wife, children and in-laws, he is a loving husband and the best daddy , while to us his admirers he is known as the Igbuzo Encyclopedia and traditional Strategist but his detractors always erroneously see him as an Obstacle because of his rising profile in Igbuzo traditional matters and acceptance by the grassroots.
Sir Fidelis Uti (Nna Oha) is not only the Pride of Umueze but also the Pride of the entire People of Ibusa for whom he had waged countless traditional wars for and won virtually all, just like the Greek mythological Odyssey who fought and won difficult battles in History. Indeed the birthday celebration of this traditional Strategist of our time had been useful and Resourceful for his service to humanity. Therefore today let me on behalf of the Grassroots Publishers and Newsbreeze Magazine join the rest of my beloved Ibusa kingdom in Oshimili North Local government Area of Deltans and Nigerians at large to Celebrate our iconoclastic Igbuzo Encyclopedia International, to thank Almighty God for adding another year to his life and to pray that he continues to bless him with robust health ,protection, and enduring provision. Your reign shall bring prosperity and peace to Ibusa and your family.
Happy birthday to the regent, Igbuzo Encyclopedia, a great lover of our tradition.

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he Oshimili North chairman of All Progressive Congress ( APC) in Delta State, Hon. Austin Nnabuife on Wednesday cast doubt over the chances of victory of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) ahead of the gubernatorial elections in the state.
He has inaugurated grassroots last minutes women canvassers for the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Senatorial Candidate, Senator Peter Nwaoboshi, and other APC Candidates in Oshimili North Local Government Area to ensure victory in the Saturday election.
While speaking, Nnabuife said the group was put in place to educate electorates on Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) new directives for the coming elections. He said the canvassers will also move round the state to solicit support and votes for the APC and all its candidates in the elections.

“So, the idea is to ensure that all our potential votes are secured while canvassing for more through this exercise”
The Personal Aide to Senator Peter Nwaoboshi, Hon. Henry Mordi aka Ojokojo said many old people may find some of the new innovations INEC will be deploying in this coming election strange.
He said the canvassers would educate them and preserve every vote meant for the APC and Senator Peter Nwaoboshi.
“We are practical politicians. We leverage all lawful means to reach out to our supporters. We don’t just sit on the social media and dream of votes.

[dropcap]F[/dropcap]or vulnerable persons especially widows, orphans and the disabled living in Ibusa of Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State, it was a moment of pure emotional outburst as a leading philanthropist in Ibusa, Pastor Chukwudi Idowu Okeze was celebrated and hosted by Ibusa Youths Council to a grand party as part of activities to mark his 50th birthday.
Speaking during the party which held at Ibusa, The President, Ibusa Youths Council, Alum Ifeanyi Asiodu noted that people were so caught up in pursuing life ambitions and generally tackling life challenges that the vulnerable are often forgotten and relegated to the background.
We are happy to host this special 50th birthday of brother, father, Patron and proud son of Ibusa Pastor Chukwudi Idowu Okeze. Nobody wants to be an orphan, a widow or disabled. These are conditions that any of us could found ourselves in. Unfortunately, we turn to pay little attention to this set of persons in our midst. We are all guilty. It is however very important that we make deliberate efforts to give them hope, show them love and give them that sense of belonging that tells them you also count and your happiness matters”.
Pastor Chukwudi Idowu Okeze is the most generous, fun, and loving person every young person should cling to, his interest in the growth and the development of youths in Ibusa make me wonder how he make out time for people even with his busy schedules. Okeze is passionate about a lot of things, sometimes I question why he has to do so much but then all of these sums up who he really is. No one or definition better describes the word intentionality but him. Okeze is intentional. He is the best definition of what it means to be intentional.
The journey of feeding families and caring for them in this trying moment as we are faced with the hardship in Nigeria, couldn’t have been possible without you pushing this goal of sustaining the poor in their lack. Many smiled again, many lived, many became hopeful because you gave them reasons to be.
ALUM IFEANYI ASIODU PRESIDENT, IBUSA YOUTHS COUNCIL
You make each day special just by being yourself around people, you illuminate the darkest moments in the lives of people through your acts of generosity. You are kind and your care for humanity is never in doubt. If asked if I have met anyone who has lived all his life being charitable and kind to others I am going to mention Pastor Chukwudi Idowu Okeze a million times because you are a servant of the poor. The volunteers would say the same because to all of us, you are that humble, happy, and friendly teacher, yes, teacher because you are always willing and patient to guide people through the right paths and your life is a lesson to us because we learn from your actions. You are unique.
Pastor Chukwudi Idowu Okeze famous for his philanthropic heart was treated to a surprise birthday party solely sponsored by Ibusa Youths Council and was joined by his wife, children and host of celebrity crowd as they toasted Okeze’s big day with a lavish party at the palatial Oshimili North Event center in Ibusa on Saturday. Okeze is described as a man of many parts – a successful Public servant and philanthropist, Okeze has continued to shine his light on humanity. He has a long history of philanthropy. And he has repeatedly shown that he has a milk of human kindness flowing in his DNA. Okeze has continued to be a blessing to humanity, It is really no shock that Idowu Okeze is in the spotlight for his 50th birthday as he has over the years worked hard, learned the ropes and currently on top of his game.
Idowu Okeze is Known for his bright personality which has won him a wide network of high-profile friends, Okeze in spite of his accomplishments remains humble and accommodating.
Commenting on the gesture of Ibusa Youths Council, Idowu Okeze said his decision to bless the youths of his village was borne out of his gratitude to God and the goodwill of youths who are the fulcrum of his fan base.
He said, “God has been faithful to me. He has blessed me with good health, good family and grace more than you can imagine. Aside from giving God thanks in my closet, this little gestures to the youths and my followers is also a way of appreciation to God.”
Idowu Okeze has in commemoration of his birthday, empowered about Fifteen persons from Ibusa with the financial supports from friends and families, The beneficiaries received hair dressing equipment, Sewing Machine among numerous others. The widows were not left out on the birthday as his committee of friends doles out cash gifts to hundreds of widows to enable them cushion the effect of the hard times at the weekend.
Alum Asiodu lauded the benefactor for always using his resources in serving God and humanity and called on youths to prepare themselves for the future through education, diligence and acquisition of necessary skills, as according to him, there is dignity in labour and he urges them to put all they have received to good use. Some of the beneficiaries who bared their minds noted in emotions laden voices that they had not expected such a gesture especially from someone who is not a politician.
According to Madam Comfort, 52 year old widow and mother of seven “it takes only a man with the heart of gold to remember people like us and to decide to host us to a party. Look at all the big men that are well dressed, he appealed to all of them to support the Ibusa widows financially to mark his 50th birthday. I feel loved and happy for the first time since my husband’s death thirteen years ago. Usually, it is during campaign that people remember us to share us gift. This is different”. I can’t believe it. In the past, we have been receiving gifts through our widows union from him but this is the first time that someone in his position is hosting us and even interacting with us as if he was a part of us. I feel so happy and pray that God will bless him a lot” Madam Comfort said.
Most Distinguished Senator Peter Onyelukachukwu Nwaoboshi(SPON)
[dropcap]S[/dropcap]ince Most Distinguished Senator Peter Nwaoboshi, our Dynamic Leader, the Oracle turned Miracle of Delta Politics, the Ide of Okpanam Land, Oshimili Lieonye Olie Ogwuaa of Akwukwu Igbo Kingdom and the Ochiaya of Anioma Nation ascended as the member representing Delta North Senatorial District in the Senate Arm of the National Assembly and Chairman, Senate Committee on Niger Delta Affairs, has been the anchor of Delta’s Democratic ship and has used the senate as vehicle to drive social and economic change in Delta North (Anioma) under minding the vehement hostility against him by members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State.
However, Most Distinguished Senator Peter Nwaoboshi did not renege on his primary duty as a Senator and continued to discharge his duties with a sense of purpose and efficiency. Many leaders have not shown a greater sense of emotional intelligence, empathy and responsiveness to the needs of Deltans like (Senator Nwaoboshi)our Anioma Political Warrior, A Go-Getter and A result Oriented Senator.
Besides these legislative efforts and accomplishments, it is on record that he has, in an unprecedented manner attracted unequaled massive projects to the Delta North Senatorial District and still counting. Senator Nwaoboshi flaunts a first-time record in road construction, rural electrification, both in the distribution of transformers and solar energy, visible in all the nooks and crannies of the Anioma nation and this is indisputable. The list is endless and no space in one write-up can allow the listing, else it may become boring.
Most Distinguished Senator Peter Nwaoboshi has attracted/constructed over 135 Roads in all the nooks and crannies of Delta North Senatorial District, Renovated over 30 public schools (both Primary and Secondary) in Delta North, Supply over 100,000 chairs and tables to all the public schools in Delta North, supplied thousands of text and note books to all the public schools in Delta North, Solar Street lighting to various towns and villages in Delta North, Transformers to various communities in Delta North , he also attracted Niger Delta Skill Acquisition centers in Ibusa, Agbor and Utagba Ogbe in Ndokwa West etc. Even the solar street lighting of Obi of Owa Palace was attracted via NDDC by Senator Peter Onyelukachukwu Nwaoboshi.
He fought and included Ndokwa Nation into Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) master plan and also included Ndokwa Youths into Nigeria Presidential Amnesty Programmes which alot of young people in Ndokwa Nation even in the whole of Delta North Senatorial District have benefited both in Education, Health, Agriculture sectors and Oil Companies Treaties.
Most Distinguished Senator Peter Nwaoboshi also moved for another Bill for the Establishment of Aboh Federal University of Agriculture and Technology Aboh in Ndokwa East Local Government Area, Delta State, the is now waiting for the President to sign same into Law. He also Sponsored the Bill for Act to repeal NDDC act, same Bill has been Passed by the National Assembly and Assented to or rather signed into Law by the President of Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Critics in their attempt to lower the influence of the Nwaoboshi Factor have deposed insensitively that these achievements came only because of his privileged position as the chairman of the Senate committee for Niger Delta Affairs. They point to the huge resources of the NDDC as an added impetus for his performance. Absurdly, this position denies the Nwaoboshi Factor to these events. The questions to ask and congruously pertinent is, how is it that the ruling party ceded such a feasible and viable office to Nwaoboshi coming from an opposition party in 2015, if not for his delirious personae?
That Nwaoboshi knows his onions is not at all in doubt because from the start of his political career, he has shown remarkably that he towers in the realm of the spiritual.
He stands today as the only and original voice of Anioma (Delta North) at the National Assembly. The official mascot of Anioma identity, history, traditional norms and values. The fearless, courageous, pragmatic, articulate and very outspoken advocacy in the legitimate quest for constitutional clarity over contentious issues, which Senator Nwaoboshi (SPON) has displayed with competent authority, makes his leadership model iconic.
Anioma people have every reason to be proud of Nwaoboshi – an illustrious son whose political influence has brought multiplying gains to us, evidenced by the several projects in infrastructure either attracted or personally provided by the Senator. In human capital development, the Senator has, and is still empowering both youths and women in various trades and businesses to make them self-reliant. Many more are also now on his payroll, sole effort of the Senator to alleviate the sufferings of his people.
Aniocha/Oshimili as a whole, and indeed Anioma people cannot but extol Nwaoboshi. The nooks and crannies of Delta North are witness to the Nwaoboshi factor in the distribution of social infrastructure that once eluded the region as stakeholders in the NDDC. Nwaoboshi is willing to do more.
Anioma Nation now knows better that Most Distinguished Senator Peter Nwaoboshi is the best Senator ever to represent Delta North at the upper chambers. His kindness and willingness to reach out to Anioma people is one reputation that will continue to precede him on the match again come 2023. Nwaoboshi has performed beyond doubt and above all past Senators representing Delta North in the Senate and this is unquestionable and deepening success shall have no end because Senator Nwaoboshi is willing to do more.
Senator Peter Nwaoboshi’s incarceration will not in any way diminish his relevance, acceptance and winsomeness come Saturday 25th February 2023 election. Come to think of what his opponent will campaign with? As far as we are concerned, Delta North need a ranking senator this time and that is what will position Anioma nation visibly in the red chamber and God’s willing,he will secure a leadership position as principal officer in the next senate as usual.
Delta North deserved a proactive representation at the senate, dispelling the notion that believes in the Orwellian assertion ‘that all animals are not equally but some are more equal than others. Nwaoboshi’s political storm will soon be over by the grace Almighty God, so let vote for Continuity.
[dropcap]A[/dropcap]s the 2023 general elections gather momentum, a youth-based group sympathetic to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ibusa, The Progressive Youths of Ibusa, has vowed to mobilise and deliver 90 per cent of the total vote cast in the Oshimili North to Senator Peter Nwaoboshi and all the candidates of the party in the forthcoming elections.

Earlier in his remarks, APC Oshimili North Youths Leader, Comrade Peter Okocha aka BOBO NKITI, said the Progressive Youths of Ibusa, which began as a youth development initiative, has provided support for indigent youths across Oshimili North Local government since 2019.
“The young people are the target of our strategic campaign and as the saying goes, charity begins at home, our aim is to improve the voting population in Oshimili North to a minimum of 80 per cent through massive orientation and enlightenment of the electorate and also ensure that the APC score nothing less than 90 per cent of the vote cast in Oshimili North.
