The people of Igbuzo Kingdom in Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State have once again been thrown into celebration following another remarkable achievement by one of their illustrious sons, Pastor Chukwudi Idowu Okeze, who has been recognized as one of Africa’s Top Procurement and Supply Chain Leaders of the Year.
The prestigious award ceremony, which attracted procurement and supply chain professionals from across Africa, was held at the Oriental Hotel, Lekki, Lagos State, with participants and award recipients drawn from more than five African countries.
Pastor Okeze was named among the Top 50 Procurement and Supply Chain Leaders of the Year, a recognition that underscores his outstanding contributions to the procurement profession, ethical leadership, and excellence in public service.
The latest honour comes barely a month after he received another prestigious award, making it the second major recognition bestowed upon him within a short period. His consistent achievements have continued to bring pride and recognition to Igbuzo Kingdom and Delta State at large.

Pastor Okeze, who serves as a Director of Procurement at the Federal Cooperative College, Orji River, Enugu State, has distinguished himself through exemplary service and commitment to excellence. His area of professional oversight covers the South-South and South-East regions of Nigeria, comprising eleven states.
Industry stakeholders noted that his recognition reflects not only his personal achievements but also the growing impact of Nigerian professionals in shaping procurement and supply chain management practices across the continent.
