The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State has continued its consultations with stakeholders ahead of the 2027 general elections, with the incumbent member representing Oshimili North Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Frank Esenwah, declaring support for Olorogun Innocent Esewezie.
Esenwah made his position known when he received the Oshimili North APC Consultative Team, led by its Chairman, Dr. Austin Obidi, during a consultation visit to him in Okpanam.
The lawmaker also expressed support for other APC candidates, including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, Hon. Ndudi Elumelu and Esewezie, while calling for unity, cooperation and collective commitment among party stakeholders in Oshimili North.
He commended the consultative team for reaching out to stakeholders across the local government, stressing that sustained engagement was necessary to strengthen relationships, promote internal cohesion and improve coordination among party members.
The consultation is part of a wider engagement programme by the Oshimili North APC leadership to interact with stakeholders and discuss the direction of the party ahead of the 2027 elections.
Members of the delegation included the Oshimili North APC Chairman, Hon. Austin Nnabuife; Hon. Princess Pat Ajudua; Dr. Ben Iwezu; Comrade Ifeanyi Nwaezeigwe; Hon. Louis Ndukwe; Chief Ikechukwu Iwegbu; Chief Olise Ifeajika; Hon. Joseph Ijeh and Chief Uche Egbuchue.
Speaking after the meeting, Dr. Obidi thanked Esenwah for receiving the delegation and for his stated support for Esewezie and the other APC candidates.
Obidi said the consultative team would sustain its engagement with party stakeholders, traditional institutions, community leaders, women, youths and other interest groups across Oshimili North.
According to him, the objective is to promote dialogue, strengthen relationships among party members and build a more cohesive grassroots structure ahead of the 2027 elections.
The APC leadership in Oshimili North reaffirmed its commitment to sustained grassroots engagement and greater internal cohesion, maintaining that consultations with stakeholders would remain central to its activities as the party prepares for the elections.
