[dropcap]I[/dropcap]t was cheering news for Delta State APC and the House Assembly aspirant ,Hon. Louis Ndukwe ,the former Executive Chairman Of Oshimili North, As former Past House leader of Oshimili North Local Government Area, Leader of Ward 2 Ebu , Rt. Hon. Kema Egenu throws his weight and support for him as the rightful man to take over come 2023.
Rt. Hon. Kema was responding to request from a delegation of the IZU-UMUNE OSHIMILI NORTH CAMPAIGN AND CONSULTATION TEAM,led by its Director- General, Hon. Leo Nkeaka who were at Ward 2 Ebu in Oshimili North Local Government Area to seek support for DSP Ovie Omo-Agege for Governor ,Most Distinguished Senator Peter Nwaoboshi for Senate and Hon. Louis Ndukwe for House of Assembly come 2023.
Hon. Kema who did not hide his admiration for Ndukwe did not mince words, but equate Ndukwe to a Self Propelled(SP) Military artillery gun, an abbreviation for two term chairman, whose credentials and personality speaks for him.
According to him, many aspirants have come and will come here. But a young man of his( Ndukwe) status who knows Oshimili North well should lead the Oshimili North local Government at the State Assembly for maximum results.
“Am glad to have found people who have defined who a true Nigerian leader should be. This definition was lacking. Am happy you have identified someone who can do the job. The narrative has to change. I know your candidate very well. I am part of him because we have both worked together.
You have zeroed on a good candidate. I call him” General of all Generals because he is a man rooted in the grassroots”. In the military artillery we have a Self Propelled gun called SP with strategic responsibility and functions. That is who he is”.
Kema commended Ndukwe’s patriotic efforts as Two Term Chairman of Oshimili North Local Government Council saying,” It was Ndukwe’s efforts that saved the council from imminent crisis that ensued. Remember if he was not able to nip the crisis, only God knows what would have happened. It was his intelligence at play that saved the council during the Covid-19. He is the best to represent us the Delta State House of Assembly come 2023.
“But a lot of work must be done to achieve this. You have identified the right person for the leadership job. We need a representative that can give us a voice and utilise our rich diversities to our advantage. We have lost our voice at the Delta State House of Assembly since 1999 and are not able to use it well to our advantage. I believe that the Ndukwe has the capacity to bring back this glory to our local government. He has my prayers, he has my absolute support and that of my entire ward”.
The leader of the large delegation, Hon. Leo Nkeaka also asked for Ward 2 Ebu,Coordinator Mr Christopher Okakwu blessings and support for Ndukwe, who is within the youthful age canvassed by Kema himself for the leadership of Nigeria.
Nkeaka said, we are here to present to our Son, Hon. Louis Ndukwe. Our local Government council has not fared well under the present representative and if nothing is done, the situation will be worst.
Our Son Hon. Louis Ndukwe has the DNA of our overall Leader, Most Distinguished Senator Peter Nwaoboshi and he is following his beautiful footsteps and He has all that it takes to provide the kind of leadership Senator Nwaoboshi is giving the entire Delta North at the Red Chambers presently.He is intelligent, cosmopolitan, patriotic, determined, energetic and strategic to do the job”.
Nkeaka said: “When we started this long ago, it was not popular but we are happy today that Oshimili people have seen that Ndukwe is a magical man. He has done well for himself, Oshimili North and Nigeria at large.”
