[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he Association of Community Newspaper Publishers of Nigeria(ACNPN),Delta State Council, has congratulated the newly-appointed Commissioner for Information of the State, Dr Ifeanyi Osuoza, describing the appointment as well-deserved.
This is contained in a congratulatory letter signed by the Chairman of the council, Comrade Jude Obiemenyego, and its Secretary, Comrade Mercy Akuba, and circulated to newsmen in Asaba on Thursday.
The council hoped that Dr Osuoza would bring his unmatchable experience to bear in projecting the good image of the state as well as managing information about the policies and programmes of the Gov. Sheriff Oborevwori -led administration.
It also hoped that the new Information Commissioner would carry along all working Publishers and Journalists in the state “in the discharge of the all-important tasks ahead.”
“As your professional colleagues, we pledge to give you all the necessary support, cooperation and understanding to enable you succeed in the attainment of the noble objective,” the union added.
