Most Distinguished Senator Peter Onyelukachukwu Nwaoboshi,the Agu-wa-ji-Ejemba 1 of Anioma land has congratulated His Royal Majesty (HRM), Obi Prof. Epiphany Azinge, SAN, 14th Asagba of Asaba on his presentation of staff of office by the Delta State Government.
Distinguished Senator Peter Onyelukachukwu Nwaoboshi in a signed statement while rejoicing with the monarch and the great people of Asaba Kingdom, prayed that the reign of HRM Epiphany Azinge, as the king of Asaba Kingdom will bring accelerated development and peace to the kingdom.
According to Senator Nwaoboshi, “I extend my warmest congratulations to His Royal Majesty,Epiphany Azinge, the Asagba of Asaba Kingdom, on the occasion of his presentation of the staff of office by the Delta State Government.
“This significant event heralds a new era of leadership for the Asaba Kingdom, and it is a testament to your distinguished qualities, vision, and the high regard in which you are held by your people. Your ascension to this revered position marks a great moment in the history of our kingdom.
“As you embark on this noble journey, I pray that your reign will be blessed with accelerated development, peace, and prosperity for the Asaba Kingdom. May your leadership inspire unity, progress, and a renewed sense of purpose among our people.
“On your shoulders lie the onerous obligation of protecting the cultural heritage of your people and promoting their wellbeing. I am convinced that you will discharge your responsibilities with great wisdom and integrity as did your ancestors”, Nwaoboshi said.
Against the backdrop of pervasive unemployment, especially among the youth, the Senator Nwaoboshi urged His Royal Majesty to always prioritise efforts that will enable the youth engage in productive ventures. I am confident that under your guidance, coupled with your contacts and connections in Nigeria and world over, Asaba Kingdom will continue to thrive and flourish.
