Police arrest the Burglar of Senator Nwaoboshi’s residence

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he Delta State Police Command, with effective collaboration of the IGP’s Intelligence Response Team have arrested a notorious burglar, linked to series of heist across the country including the recent stealing of valuables worth over millions at the residence of Senator Peter Nwaoboshi. This was contained in a press statement made available to journalists by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) DSP Andrew Aniamaka disclosing that a Notorious Burglar involved in the Burglary and Stealing at Chief Nwaoboshi’s residence  has been arrested.

The PPRO said; “The Delta State Police Command, with effective collaboration of the IGP’s Intelligence Response Team on Tuesday, 24/10/2017 arrested one Emeka Ezeonyi ‘m’, aged 18yrs old, for his involvement in series of burglaries and stealing cases in the residences of many identified prominent personalities in Asaba, Owerri, Makurdi and Enugu metropolis.

The suspect, who hails from Umuchu village, in Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State, has confessed that he was responsible for the burglary and stealing of phones, laptops and cash in the Asaba residence of Senator Nwaoboshi and many others which occurred recently in the state.”

DSP Aniamaka further informed that, the Commissioner of Police Delta State, CP Zanna Ibrahim has commended the officers who effected the arrest,stating  that, the police have once again through effective deployment of tactical intelligence effected the arrest of a budding notorious criminal.
