Your contributions to the growth and development of our beloved town Ibusa remains indelible in the annals of our cherished history. “As you mark your birthday today, we celebrate you and all that you have accomplished through your humble beginnings to your illustrious career as a two term senator of Federal Republic of Nigeria.
“Your leadership prowess has continued to reverberate round the entire Anioma nation, Delta State and beyond and we celebrate your unforgettable contributions to advancing our state, adding your commitment to humanity, and how you have, at different times through various capacities, impacted the people you lead, marked you out as a light that cannot be hidden”.
At this moment of your life, you have written your name in gold. You brought smiles on the faces of our people. Your achievements as a senator and Senate Committee Chairman on Niger-Delta are numerous to mention.
Your investment on human development is also worthy of mention. Your kind gestures to the poor have not only changed the lives of the youths in Anioma but have also made the beneficiaries to realize their potentials. What else is expected of a leader than to empower the youths? Cicero once said: ‘what can I offer the nation than to teach and instruct the youths? By empowering the youths, you have put food on the table of the masses. In the words of Franklin Benjamin, if a man empties his purse into his head, no man can take it from him. Your investment on Youths empowerment will never be a waste.
Our great leader, your political integrity is not questionable. You came into political limelight when you rose to become state chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) . You led a people-oriented Party especially in Delta State. During your days as the state chairman, you restored the prestige of the party and brought value into it. The legacy you left in the state politics was strengthened by your successor. In fact, during your tenure as state Party chairman , Political appointees were made to be answerable to their (party)constituencies. Throughout your tenure as state chairman, party leaders enjoyed good political atmosphere with the executive arm of the government.
