The Chairman of Pacy Homes Limited, Real Estate guru, Afamefuna Valentine Nwankwo has described Delta as one of the most progressives among the states created 34 years ago.
Nwankwo ,in his goodwill message to Deltans on the creation anniversary of the state, noted that the ability of people of the diverse ethnic groups in the state to coexist peacefully had been the magic wand for the steady growth and development recorded this far.
He described the 34th anniversary as a celebration of resilience and determination, and called on all to sustain the collective spirit and resolve to remain committed to the shared vision of building a prosperous, peaceful, and progressive state.
Valentine Nwankwo paid tribute to General Ibrahim Babangida (rtd) for creating the state and appreciated all the Military Administrators and Governors who held sway over the past 34 years and left their footprints in the sands of time.
The grassroots politician and community leader commended the incumbent Governor, Rt. Hon (Elder) Sheriff Oborevwori, for the giant strides of his administration in the past two years, especially the evolution from significant infrastructural challenges to notable advancements in education, healthcare, infrastructure, and human capital development.
He urged political, community and religious leaders, citizens, and stakeholders to support the Oborevwori administration, with the understanding that governance is a collective responsibility, and expressed optimism that the dream of a stronger and more inclusive Delta could only be realized through collective efforts.
