NDINWA WELCOME GOVERNOR OBOREVWORI FOR THE GROUND-BREAKING OF 11.725-kILIMETRE OKPANAM – UGBOLU ROAD

Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, will perform the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of of the 11.725-kilometre Okpanam–Ugbolu Road in Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State today.

Special Assistance to the Governor on Youth Moblisation for Ward 8,in Oshimili North LGA, Chief Austin Ndinwa (Okemili Igbuzor) stated that the project is a testament to the Governor’s vision for a prosperous and developed Delta State. The people of Oshimili North LGA and beyond are expected to benefit greatly from this initiative, which will not only improve access to markets, schools, and healthcare facilities but also attract investments and create opportunities for economic growth. The project is indeed a new era of development.

According to him, this administration has prioritised infrastructure development, especially roads infrastructure, adding that good roads enhance economic development and enable security agencies to respond swiftly to emergencies.

Okemili said the people of Oshimili North would remain eternally grateful to Governor Oborevwori for his enduring legacies, which would continue to impact lives for years to come.

Chief Ndinwa applauded Governor Oborevwori achievements in road construction, school and hospital renovation, and the building of bridges and flyovers within two years of his administration and he urged him to stay the course of visionary leadership under the MORE Agenda, confident that the administration’s efforts will yield lasting dividends for all Deltans.

According to Chief Ndinwa, the Okpanam–Ugbolu Road project marks a new phase in the state’s effort to open up rural and semi-urban areas for development, ease transportation, and stimulate socio-economic growth. He noted that the Okpanam–Ugbolu Road would not only enhance accessibility between communities but also create a direct link between Ibusa town and the Oshimili North Council Secretariat in Akwukwu-Igbo.
“This project will greatly improve the lives of our people. It’s not just a road; it’s a pathway to greater economic and social integration within Oshimili North and open new opportunities for commerce, transport, and agricultural development across the local government area.”

He commended Governor Oborevwori for his visionary leadership under the MORE Agenda, assuring that Oshimili North would continue to support the state government’s developmental initiatives.
