
The Oshimili North APC Youths leader,Comrade Peter Okocha aka Bobo Nkiti, has commended the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori for the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the 11.725-kilometre Okpanam–Ugbolu Road.
Comrade Okocha’s stated that the project is a testament to the Governor’s vision for a prosperous and developed Delta State. The people of Oshimili North LGA and beyond are expected to benefit greatly from this initiative, which will not only improve access to markets, schools, and healthcare facilities but also attract investments and create opportunities for economic growth. The project is indeed a new era of development.
The Oshimili North Youths Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oshimili North LGA, Comrade Okocha, extends an invitation to all youths of Oshimili North and Delta State at large to join in celebrating this milestone development. The Governor’s commitment to infrastructure development and human capacity building is evident in this project, which promises to transform the lives of the people in the area.
He said the Okpanam–Ugbolu Road is a major gateway to many parts of Delta State, adding that it is a resource-rich local government area., just as he noted the economic and safety importance of the Road Interchange on the state capital.
According to him, this administration has prioritised infrastructure development, especially roads infrastructure, adding that good roads enhance economic development and enable security agencies to respond swiftly to emergencies.
Okocha said the people of Oshimili North would remain eternally grateful to Governor Oborevwori for his enduring legacies, which would continue to impact lives for years to come.
Comrade Okocha urged all residents of Oshimili North to turn out enmasse with their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) on election days and vote for all candidates of the party to guarantee a unified Nigeria.
