Swearing in the new Exco,the Obuzor of Ibusa, Obi Louis Nwaoboshi charged the newly inaugurated council to work for security and peace of the community. He urged them to stamp out insecurity and cultism for peace and development of Ibusa Community.
Obi Louis Nwaoboshi further advised them to carry everybody and every family along in their administration, liaise always with the paramount ruler and his Council of Chiefs, use dialogue and work as an indivisible entity. He warned that on no account should crisis be allowed to erupt in the community, stressing that Ibusa had passed the age of crises.
Obi Louis Nwaoboshi commended the electoral committee headed by Hon.Innocent Esewezie for conducting a free and fair election devoid of crisis and partiality.
In his response, the new President of Ibusa Youth Council, Comrade Ifeanyi Asiodu said as far as he was concerned there was no winner and no vanquished,stressing that all of them won the election. He promised to carry everybody along and consult the paramount ruler and his Council of Chiefs when necessary.He said the cardinal point of his administration was to fight insecurity and make sure that peace reigned supreme in Ibusa community. He called for support of everybody and promised not to disappoint Ibusa people.
The President General of the newly inaugurated Ibusa Youth Council,Comrade Ifeanyi Asiodu,further thanked the Obuzor and the Electoral Committee for the seamless process that produced the executives and pledged to lead the group to greater heights, particularly in the areas of crime control and youth empowerment.
Moreover,the Chairman of the 2020 Ibusa Youth Council Executive Electoral Committee and Executive Assistant to the Governor on Youth Development,Hon.Innocent Esewezie,also said it was a laborious journey,guided and supported by His Royal Majesty,Obi Louis Nwaoboshi, that produced the new executive after an election adjudged to be the most peaceful among youths in the state in recent times.
Honourable Esewezie thanked his committee members and other stake holders in Ibusa for their keen interest in having a well organized youth body in the community and urged the new executive to justify the confidence reposed in it by the entire Ibusa community by living above board in its activities.
During the inauguration,the Delta State Commissioner for Youth Development, Mr Ifeanyi Egwunyenga,who was represented by a Director in his Ministry, Mr. Ben Morka, presented a Certificate of recognition of the Youth body to Comrade Asiodu for the Ibusa Youth council to use as their operational office.
