“NIGERIA NOT RIPE FOR A MOSLEM/ MOSLEM TICKET. -SEN.PETER NWAOBOSHI”… APC’ll win but LP’s a threat with Peter Obi. My small daughter of 18 years says she is for Obi

Most Distinguished Senator Peter Nwaoboshi (SPON)

[dropcap]S[/dropcap]enator Peter Nwaoboshi, a lawyer, was political adviser to former Delta State Governor, James Ibori and chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the state. He was elected to represent Delta North in the 8th and 9th Senate. Recently, the chairman, Senate Committee on Niger Delta Affairs dumped the PDP for the All Progressives Congress, APC.

In this interview with Vanguard, he speaks on his APC senatorial ticket for the 2023 poll, the emergence of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State as the running mate to PDP presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, his rejection of Muslim- Muslim ticket, and the rising popularity of the Labour Party Presidential Candidate and former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, among other salient issues.

By Henry Umoru, Assistant Politics Editor

You are back from Delta after the senatorial primary election, how did it go?

Let me thank the leadership of APC both at the national and state level and also my senatorial district for finding me worthy to return unopposed. It was a very interesting primary, I contested alone and I am very grateful. It went very well.

What are you looking up to ahead of 2023 with regard to Delta North Senatorial District?

They are going to witness a very big fight. In my senatorial district, the governor and the vice presidential candidate of the PDP, the Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, and the Deputy Governorship candidate of PDP, and many other candidates are from there. It is going to be a very interesting contest.

Are you really a happy man leaving the PDP, a party you started, built, and helped to nurture?

The answer to the question is embodied in the statement of the Southern and Middle Belt Leaders Forum, SMBLF led Elder statesman, Chief Edwin Clark, everything I said and I told the people about Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, it is now that people are now realizing that I was telling them the truth, that this man can betray you at any time, that he is power drunk.

How can you host a meeting of the South-South Forum, 48 hours after that you were in Minna campaigning to be the vice president? He moved on a chartered flight to Minna to meet the former president and lobby to be the Vice President, and he was deceiving his fellow governors.

And look at the defence he is putting, that his party decided to throw the contest open and then a presidential candidate emerged. First of all, did he vote for a Southerner, did the Delta delegates vote for a Southerner? At least, I kept my own side of the agreement that we should all vote for a Southern presidential candidate.

At the convention ground, he directed Delta delegates to vote for Atiku because he had a pact with him.

When I met Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, he said, ‘Distinguished, why did you leave our party? I am not happy with you.’ I said, ‘the things I saw you will still see them.’ When we went with the Committee on Judiciary, Human Rights and Legal Matters, he was not happy with me when he saw me, he said, ‘Distinguished, how can you do this?’ I said your ‘Excellency, what I saw you will see it.’ I think I am happy he has seen it.

What is your level of consultation ahead of 2023 to come back to the Senate?

Everything I have is from God, I will keep on telling people and I want to repeat, I am not a desperate human being. I never knew that I would get up to the level of being among the 109 Senators of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. It is God that elevated me to this place.

I became the chairman of PDP; I was invited to be chairman. I was the secretary of PDP; I was invited to be secretary. I was the chairman of Raw Materials Research and Development Council; I was in my house when they called me that they had made me the chairman. I was a member of NEXIM Bank, I was in my house when they called me to be one of the non-executive directors of the bank; and so many positions I have held. Even this Senate, I was on my own when I was invited, my then governor, Ibori sent them to tell me to go and run for the Senate.

So, in terms of level of consultation, the people of Delta North know me and I know them. They know what I can do, my capacity, and credibility. So I am not a name that they will say who is he in Delta State? I have done my best. I was the chairman of NDDC.

I will campaign with what I have done not what I am going to do. I will first of all say this is what I have done and this is what I will do. There is no local government in Delta North that does not have my presence. In fact there is no ward in Delta North that does not have my presence. So, if the people still feel not satisfied then it is for them to judge.

As a ranking senator are you not worried that many of your colleagues are leaving the APC you just joined for the PDP you left?

Just like many people also came in, some people are leaving APC. That is the fall out of the primaries. I have made it clear for those who care to know, there were problems with the processes of the primary. First of all you can’t blame the present executive because the delegates were already elected before they assumed office so you can’t blame them. I believe that they should have been firm in certain decisions.

So, I don’t think that it is going to affect the fortunes of the party. I have been around for over 40 years in active politics, I have sat down and calculated the politics of the area and it is clear to me that APC will win. The only threat as at now is not PDP, it is Labour Party by my assessment.

How?

The majority of the voting strength in this country is the youth. Go to every registration unit now, you will see surge of human beings, it has never happened before, all of them trying to register. Go to anywhere you will see them now, in fact INEC cannot cope with the surge. They even went to court to get an injunction for INEC not to stop people from registering. That is to show you their level of awareness. Who are these people? They are the youths and most of them believe in Obi. When he rolls out his figures and facts, these young guys don’t want to listen to you.

Where is the PDP, where is their base?

For a takeoff, during the time of Obafemi Awolowo, you know that Awolowo is going to takeoff from the South-West, in fact Awolowo won the old Bendel, the whole of the former Mid-West, and what you call the former Western Region, that was his takeoff, where will PDP takeoff? I am just asking, where is their takeoff.

So, Tinubu, like Awolowo, is taking off from South-West including Kwara that the governor is APC. So, I can assure you that Tinubu is going to take off with at least seven states. Where does PDP have the seven states? Their strength before was in the South-East and South-South, they gained about five states in the North, I mean one or two states in the South-East,. They won Sokoto State with less than 400 votes. So, where is PDP’s take off?

I beat my chest, nobody will beat Tinubu in the South-West including even the PDP governor there, he knows he cannot beat Tinubu, PDP cannot win Oyo at the presidential election.

So, PDP does not have a take-off. The South-South is balkanized now. It is not the same South-South that we had, don’t forget that PDP lost Bayelsa, it was the Supreme Court that gave them Bayelsa. So in Bayelsa there is still going to be a big fight because the same people that chased them out before are still there.

Wike brought the highest votes in the South-South in the last election and it is the same Wike you are asking who is he? I am not saying he is leaving the party, it can never be the same zeal with which he fought the last election that he is going to fight this election, even if he decided to fight for PDP.

In Cross River, the governor has joined APC. The governor of Akwa Ibom is there, he is leaving power. It is not going to be the same thing with PDP. You are talking of Edo which is balkanized; Delta is balkanized, where are they taking off from? The South-Est is out of it, you don’t even go there. If you go to Oshimili, Aniocha Federal Constituency, in my Constituency, the people that are threat to me are the Labour Party. In Asaba today, the greatest threat we have today is the Labour Party.

So, Obi is taking off from the South-East, and Tinubu is taking off from the South-West. Does Atiku control the North East, apart from one or two states? Does he own the North central? Does he own the North-West?

I sat down and did the calculation and it is clear to me. It is going to be a situation where if Obi is not well curtailed… the way these young boys are doing now, even my small daughter of 18 years is telling me that she is going to vote for Obi. The only person they see now is Obi. So, it is for the APC to curtail him. Those who are talking don’t know what is happening. I heard what one governor was talking about Obi, I just laughed, he doesn’t know what is happening, if he knows what is happening on the ground, he won’t talk like that.

What is your take on Muslim-Muslim ticket?

I don’t support Muslim-Muslim ticket. That is the truth. Nigeria is not ripe for that.

How prepared is your party, APC, to win Delta considering the fact that all the candidates are from Delta Central and the Deputy governorship candidate of PDP is from your Senatorial district?

I won’t give you the formula but I will tell you that they know that there is a fight. Go to the street and ask any small boy, which people are contesting and they will say it is PDP versus APC. If you are an Urhobo man he is not used to Labour Party, he doesn’t know what is called SDP, he doesn’t know what is called APGA. What the Urhobo man knows is that two parties are here – PDP and APC. That is what the Urhobo man knows, that is what the Ijaw man knows, that is what Isoko man knows. He doesn’t know all those mushroom parties you are talking about.

If you are talking about Labour Party, the only person they know is Obi. Even me, I don’t even know if Labour Party has any other candidate against us.

In PDP before, we had Delta North which was the takeoff of PDP in any election from 1999 to date, minus the first election when we lobbied Ukwuani.

Now, when Uduaghan was going to be governor, the Urhobo didn’t vote for him. So, he took the votes of the South where he is coming from and joined with Delta North and that was how he became the governor of Delta State. The elections he contested, that was how he won, he never won in Urhobo land.

In the time of Ibori, he took his own votes from Delta North and then he got majority of his votes from the South. He and Kragha shared Urhobo land. That was how he became governor. It was his second term that he was able to clear the Urhobo land. When Okowa was coming, he had the Delta North which is his Senatorial district.

So what I am saying now is that it is not the same Delta North now. There is nobody that can boast now that he has his Senatorial District as a takeoff”

Nwaoboshi: Carrying the Hopes and Aspirations of Anioma People on his Broad shoulders

By: Ike Philip Abiagom
[dropcap]S[/dropcap]enator Peter Onyelukachukwu Nwaoboshi (SPON) has every reason to celebrate the second anniversary of his second tenure as the man who represents Delta North Constituency in the senate. From every political calculation and calibration, the unequivocal conclusion is that he is a man of the people who emblematizes the Divine injunction that “Power comes from God alone.”

In 2015, Senator Peter Onyelukachukwu Nwaoboshi (SPON), former PDP Delta State Chairman, found himself in the eye of a raging political storm, contrived and fermented by treacherous forces, who betrayed a political vision and threatened to completely overturn and dismantle a well nurtured political agenda to achieve their own selfish power grabbing ambitions.

Pitted against the backdrop of a manipulated and confronted by the real threat of political annihilation in the face of a viscous opposition that will stop at nothing to secure victory, Senator Nwaoboshi found himself literally and practically isolated and surrounded as the last man standing and the only hope for the redemption and protection of the political soul of Delta North.

However, he was greatly loved, admired and adored by the people of Anioma Nation as their champion. Senator Peter Onyelukachukwu Nwaoboshi took on the opposition, both within and externally, battled them to a standstill, defeated them on all fronts and won the election convincingly. Senator Nwaoboshi ascended the throne, carrying the hopes and aspirations of Anioma people on his broad shoulders.

Fast forward to 2019: The viscious, acrimonious opposition, empowered with the added authority of directing their second term campaign, deployed the full weight of both mercenary to the political battlefield. Traditional war songs reigned and echoed ominously at the venues of every campaign stomp and the poisoned manifesto rhetoric reeked of bitterness, inciting anger, unbridled hatred and imageries of political purgatory worse than Dante’s inferno, in the event of political defeat.

But Senator Nwaoboshi was fully prepared and ready for them and believing in his superior strategic plans and greatly buoyed by the resilient will of the people, the tide would once again turn to victory in the quite remarkable life of this political Colossus. The opposition had already perfected their machinery to cause disruptions of the electoral process instigate unrest to nullify voting in certain areas, abduct and hold electoral officials hostage replacing them with compromised lackeys and aid the snatching of election materials by unknown persons. All these were in their handbook of practical guidelines on Election Day and were implemented to the letter.

The last straw was in the Federal High Court, Abuja when Justice Ahmed Mohammed, in a Judgment, held that Nwaoboshi, who is a serving senator, was not the winner of the October 2, 2018 Peoples Democratic Party (PDP’s) primary held to select candidate for the 2019 general election. Justice Mohammed subsequently ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to publish the name of Ned Nwoko as candidate of the PDP, having established the fact before the court that Nwoko scored majority of the lawful votes at the primary election. The court also barred Nwaoboshi from parading himself as the candidate of the PDP for the senatorial but because his mandate was ordained by God, Senator Nwaoboshi reclaimed the peoples mandate.

So, Senator Nwaoboshi has a plethora of reasons to celebrate the second anniversary of his second tenure in office, but in typical charismatic, all action fashion. It is almost three years now, that the Senator Peter Nwaoboshi, who represents Delta North Constituency in the senate, and currently the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Niger Delta Affairs was sworn in as a SENATOR, after he was re-elected by the people of Delta North, to represent them in the National Assembly for the second time, as his one good term deserved another.

Before now, the generality of Delta North had wanted a consolidation of the good and people oriented representation of the Senator Peter Nwaoboshi, a first timer, that stunned everybody with his new order of representation- a paradigm shift from the rather oligarchic and plutocratic form of government, that was the case of the Anioma people, to a system of leadership that epitomized democracy via humble, God fearing personality and egalitarian who feels the pulse of the people. He came out with a campaign slogan: “Lets Walk the Walk”; and immediately, the project was greeted with passion and enthusiasm leading to his being voted for massively, the second time.

Like, the dictum, “He’s tested and trusted”, the massive vote from Delta North in the last general election, was triggered by the obvious testimonial of Senator Peter Nwaoboshi, whose first time leadership was characterized with human capital empowerment, palpable dividends of democracy, social empowerment, women empowerment, youth empowerment, scholarships and vibrant representation in the senate.

Before April 11, 2015, the SPON Campaign team, with its principal went round all the communities in Anioma Nation, with the campaign manifesto of hope, advancement and prosperity. He made promises, irrespective of the economic challenges ravaging the country, but he hasn’t held this as a yardstick not to fulfill his promises to his people. Just three years into his second return to the National Assembly, he has fulfilled almost all his campaign promises and he has not relented in raising the bar, each passing day.

Nwaoboshi has become a phenomenon that must be reckoned with, as his rescue and empowerment mission remains a fortified force within the polity. From “Lets Walk the Walk”; it’s now, “let Consolidate”, in Delta North. Within a three years,Senator Peter Nwaoboshi, has reasonably changed the game and has raised the standard that will be difficult for any representative or politician within and around Anioma nation to beat because he is presently the best  Anioma representative any time any day.

He started with harmonizing the leadership of Anioma nation, synchronizing all divides and views in the trado-political leadership of Anioma nation and Niger Delta in general. Because of his passion for youths empowerment and positive engagement, Nwaoboshi has instituted a youth empowerment cum involvement strategy, which gives every youth a sense of belonging. Nwaoboshi has been able to harmonize Anioma youths, irrespective of their divergent opinions and views about life and government.

Within three years, the “Empowerment Master” as he is now fondly called, has facilitated the appointments of young men and women into positions of influence and affluence, within and outside the political terrain of Delta State. Because of his passion for human capital development, he has institutionalized a process of ensuring academic excellence in order to raise Giants in various strata of human life, through his foundation.

In my life history, I have not known representative like Senator Peter Nwaoboshi, who attaches great importance to poverty eradication and lifting the people out of the various stages of poverty and helping people achieve their dreams and success including raising people to various leadership levels.

My prayers everyday is for God to raise more leaders like Senator Peter Nwaoboshi, I have not seen a compassionate leader like him, Leadership Must Be By Example Or It Is Not Leadership. This is one reason why Senator Nwaoboshi is loved by all including his political critics. I passionately urge the Good People of Anioma Nations to support our Most Distinguished Sen. Peter Nwaoboshi to continue to ventilate outstanding developmental sagacity in governance for the development of Anioma Communities.

As a Leader of value, dependable and trusted politician who would take bullets for his friends while fighting for Equity and Justice, we salute the courage and diligence of the Ibusa born political tactician. You are the greatest political leader in Oshimili North Local Government Area and a role model for every youths in Delta North and Nigeria in general.

Oracle in Politics.

Senator Nwaoboshi’s Political influence at the Senate has brought multiply gain to Delta North

By:Ike Philip Abiagom

Most Distinguished Senator Peter Nwaoboshi (SPON)

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he member representing Delta North Senatorial District in the Senate Arm of the National Assembly and Chairman, Senate Committee on Niger Delta Affairs,Most Distinguished Senator Peter Nwaoboshi(SPON),our Dynamic Leader, the Oracle turned Miracle of Delta Politics, the Aguwajiejemba of Ibusa, the Ide of Okpanam Land,Oshimili Lieonye Olie Ogwuaa of Akwukwu Igbo Kingdom and the Ochiaya of Anioma Nation at heart has every right to continue representing the Anioma nation at the Red chambers considering his pedigree and achievements as our senator. He’s a Pan-Nigerian leader who is acceptable by all regions of the country regardless of any ethnic, religious and tribal consideration.

In politics and democracy, high moral and ethical standards are essential ingredients of good leadership and governance. They make leaders responsible and responsive as well as help boost confidence of the people. A leader who follows his moral and ethical convictions by doing the right thing in all circumstances, even if no one is watching, has credibility. That is integrity and credibility speaking through him.

The essence of having integrity implies that a leader is true to himself and the people he is leading. Therefore, he would do nothing that demeans or dishonours his good reputation in the sight of the people.

A cursory appraisal of Senator Peter Nwaoboshi’s persona and leadership disposition reveals a man who is honest with himself and the people. He is frank and unpretentious as he has nothing to hide. This is the secret of his clear conscience and candour that emboldens him to mix, interact and communicate freely with the good people of Anioma and Delta State in general.

For this reason, the vast majority of Anioma people look unto him as their tested, trusted leader, rescuer and solution provider. To our Anioma people, he is rightly the leader that has bail Anioma nation from political and socio-economic stagnation at the red chambers(senate). His audacious entrance into the 2015 Senate race in the state is widely perceived as the best thing that ever happened to Delta North.

The people have enough provable reasons to believe in Senator Peter Nwaoboshi. His scorecard as a distinguished senator between 2015 and till date(seven years)are mind-boggling. In him, they look unto a steely and intelligent leader who sponsored many effective bills in a period of seven years at the National Assembly. He is indeed an outstanding lawmaker, leader and a true representative of the people.

In addition to that, for seven years,Nwaoboshi’s keen sense of empathy, is one unique trait which sets him apart from other Anioma former Senators. This has been exemplified in so many other countless achievements and his proactive performance in Delta North for example is incomparable to other Anioma representatives. it is more disturbing when one sees that the loudest voices of opposition come from the immediate beneficiaries of the Senator Nwaoboshi’s rise to prominence, particularly from the Oshimili/Aniocha axis.

It is on record that upon the resumption of duty as the Chairman, Senate Committee on Niger Delta Affairs, Nwaoboshi quickly moved for the amendment of the NDDC ESTABLISHMENT ACT 2000 and within the shortest possible of time, the Bill was passed into law with the Presidential Assent.
As the Chairman, Senate Committee on Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Peter Nwaoboshi, for the first time in the history of Delta North political existence,he influenced the inclusion of more than 3,000 Delta North citizens into the Presidential Amnesty Programme. These youths were trained in various vocational fields and upon completion of the mentoring exercise which lasted for months, were duly assisted in setting up their various businesses in which 80% of them have carved a niche for themselves for today.

Senator Peter Nwaoboshi knows the importance of good and quality road network and through his influence as the Chairman, Senate Committee on Niger Delta Affairs,he turned Anioma nooks and crannies into project Mecca of NDDC. In truth, the NDDC now have more than 140 major roads equitably distributed across the 9 local governments in Delta North. It came to the point when the locals started saying that Senator Peter Nwaoboshi is the real Road master of Anioma land.

Besides these legislative efforts and accomplishments, it is on record too that he has, in an unprecedented manner attracted unequaled massive projects to the Delta North Senatorial District and still counting. Senator Nwaoboshi flaunts a first-time record in roads construction,Human Empowerment, rural electrification, both in the distribution of over 100 transformers and solar energy street lights, visible in all the nooks and crannies of the Anioma nation and this is indisputable. The list is endless and no space in one write-up can allow the listing, else it may become boring.

Most Distinguished Senator Peter Nwaoboshi has attracted/constructed over 140 Roads in all the nooks and crannies of Delta North Senatorial District in Delta State. Even the Road leading to Obi of Owa Palace was attracted and constructed with Street Light via NDDC by Senator Peter Onyelukachukwu Nwaoboshi. Presently, A well befitting Royal Palace and Asaba Ultra Modern Event Center and Meeting Hall are ongoing at DLA Road in Asaba for Asaba People and he has built a Skill Acquisition centers in Ibusa, Agbor and Utagba Ogbe in Ndokwa West Respectively.

He fought and included Ndokwa Nation into Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) master plan and also included Ndokwa Youths into Nigeria Presidential Amnesty Programmes which alot of young people in Ndokwa Nation even in the whole of Delta North Senatorial District have benefited both in Education, Health, Agriculture sectors and Oil Companies Treaties.
Most Distinguished Senator Peter Nwaoboshi also moved for another legacy Bill for the Establishment of Aboh Federal University of Agriculture and Technology Aboh in Ndokwa East Local Government Area, Delta State. A Bill that have been passed by senate and the Lower House Concurrent Passage for the President to sign same into Law.
Critics in their attempt to lower the influence of the Nwaoboshi Factor have deposed insensitively that these achievements came only because of his privileged position as the chairman of the Senate committee for Niger Delta Affairs. They point to the huge resources of the NDDC as an added impetus for his performance. Absurdly, this position denies the Nwaoboshi Factor to these events. The questions to ask and congruously pertinent is, how is it that the ruling party ceded such a feasible and viable office to Nwaoboshi coming from an opposition party, if not for his delirious personae and a lionic nature?
That Nwaoboshi knows his onions is not at all in doubt because from the start of his political career, he has shown remarkably that he towers in the realm of the spiritual. He stands today as the only and original voice of Anioma (Delta North) at the National Assembly. The official mascot of Anioma identity, history, traditional norms and values. The fearless, courageous, pragmatic, articulate and very outspoken advocacy in the legitimate quest for constitutional clarity over contentious issues, which Senator Nwaoboshi (SPON) has displayed with competent authority, makes his leadership model iconic.
Ndi Anioma have every reason to be proud of Nwaoboshi – an illustrious son whose political influence has brought multiplying gains to Aniom NATION. Nwaoboshi is the man of integrity, influence and the star choice of Anioma people that can partner with our in coming governor DSP Ovie Omo-Agege and help clear the route for his election come 2023.
Most Distinguished Senator Peter Onyelukachukwu Nwaoboshi(SPON),you have done selflessly beyond and above any other Delta North legislator in all ramifications with total circumspection not to have circumvented your constituency to subserviency and servitude courtesy of your imbued aura and charisma which with your midas touch and magic wand you translate human resourceful imaginations into efficacious realities. A managerial guru ideas and concepts of visionary passion to serve and give all to the entire constituents.
An enigma with tested, trusted and proven effective effectual responsive and responsible legislative dispositions.Your generational ground breaking feats speaks volumes and will stand the test of time .Your constituents appreciate, yearn clamour and beckon for your come back which is certain.
Your constituents celebrate you and vowed to drop their vote in your support come 2023,it is you we know come 2023.The quintessential and exponential political guru driven with visionary passion to serve your people, with your adept idealogies prodigious political conceptualities. You are second to none and legislatively Primus inter paires. Nwaoboshi felicitates with Nigerians on Democracy Day

Most Distinguished Senator Peter Nwaoboshi

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he member representing Delta North Senatorial District in the Senate Arm of the National Assembly and Chairman, Senate Committee on Niger Delta Affairs,Most Distinguished Senator Peter Onyelukachukwu Nwaoboshi (SPON), has called on Nigerians to embrace the significance of June 12 as Democracy Day, while working together to defend and protect the nation’s democracy and its institutions.

In the statement released by his SPON Media, the Senate Committee on Niger Delta Affairs noted significant Nigerians who struggled to establish democracy in the country.

Nwaoboshi said Nigeria must also honour its heroes like Chief MKO Abiola, the winner of the annulled June 12, 1993 presidential election and others who played key roles in making the election possible. He expressed delight at how the citizens have embraced democratic governance in the past two decades, saying there is a lot to come in the coming years in terms of dividends of democracy.

He called for the continuous support and cooperation of the citizens for the entrenchment and deepening of democracy in the country.

Nwaoboshi said: “Democracy Day is a sombre commemoration of our nation’s history. It is a reminder that a government for, of, and by the people is and must be Nigeria’s only recourse.
“As we commemorate today, and remember our heroes like Chief MKO Abiola, we must all collectively commit to playing our own individual roles in the defence of Nigeria’s democracy.”

He harped on the need for Nigerians to contribute their quota towards upholding the tenets of Democracy by ensuring that they register as voters to enable them participate in all elections and he advised eligible citizens who are yet to collect their permanent voter cards from INEC to quickly do so to enable them participate actively in the Democracy process in the country.

Senator Nwaoboshi charged Nigerians to be patriotic at all times and dwell permanently on issues that can unite the country at all times.

Dike: A birthday tribute to an enigma

By:Ike Philip Abiagom

[dropcap]A[/dropcap]ge may be a number but life is certainly a battle. And if the life is that of the urbane and personable the Chairman of Hotel de Espana,Ambrose Elofu Elue-Dike,then life is not only a battle–it is a full blown war.Ever since he adorned himself as a soldier for good,he has had no reprieve from the unrelenting forces of evil. He is caught in the vortex of the eternal battle between good and evil.

Indeed, to those who know him up close and personal, Dike is an enigma: humble, self-effacing,industrious, practical, efficient by nature, diligent, always thinking about things he needs to accomplish or how to get ahead on his next assignment,a complete Gemini,if you care to assess him by his Zodiac sign. But in plain terms, he is a case of a man who set out to always make a difference wherever he found himself. Not the kind of difference other men pursue to grandstand, but the type that impacts humanity and makes life easier for people. And of this, his track record is unassailable. A look back at his trajectory gives a chronicle of exemplary service to his community and a profile of pure patriotism from an individual.

Greatness is a property for which no man can receive credit too soon; it must be possessed long before it is acknowledged.”When one of the world’s greatest thinkers, Ralph Waldo Emerson handed down the above words of wisdom, those he had in mind were certainly the likes of Ambrose Elofu Elue-Dike (Espana)! .

For the trail-blazing Business mogul from Isieke-Ibusa,Delta State, it is certainly impossible to gloss over his attributes for greatness. He is the embodiment of cerebral articulation, the essence of unparalleled philanthropy, the epitome of intellection and breathtaking simplicity, the personification of undiluted humanness, the perfect example of business leadership symbolism, the paragon of idealism, the soul of humanity, the heart of warrior, a perfect gentleman. In the gallery of great leaders and great men, he is without doubt, a rare masterpiece. Anyone who encounters him would love to associate with him for his candour, courage and forthrightness. As a human being, his humility and modesty is second to none. As an Businessman, he is sound and engaging.

Ambrose Elofu Elue-Dike,he means different things to different people; to his wife and children,he is a loving husband and a kind daddy, while to us his admirers,he is known as the Digital Business Strategist but his detractors always erroneously see him as an obstacle because of his rising profile in business,Politics and acceptance by the grassroots.

Ambrose is not only the Pride of Dike’s but also the Pride of the People of Oshimili North Local Government Area for whom he had waged countless business and political wars for and won virtually all, just like the Greek mythological Odyssey who fought and won difficult battles in History.Indeed the birthday celebration of this digital Businessman of our time had been useful and Resourceful for his service to humanity. Therefore today let me on behalf of Most Distinguished Senator Peter Onyelukachukwu Nwaoboshi (SPON) Political Family join the rest of my beloved Ibusa kingdom in Oshimili North Local government Area of Deltans and Nigerians at large to celebrate our Business and Political iconoclastic Espana International(Umuejei-Ibusa),to thank Almighty God for adding another year to his life and to pray that God continues to bless him with robust health, protection, and enduring provision.Your business reign shall bring prosperity and peace to Ibusa, Oshimili, Delta State and Nigeria in general.
Your legendary generosity and willingness to do good at all times is documented in the hearts of millions. That is why on your birthday, You deserves a toast and song, “Happy birthday to you…” Above all, You deserves a prayer from everyone who is on the side of truth in the eternal battle between truth and falsehood.
Happy birthday to the regent, aka Umuejei-Ibusa,a great lover of our tradition.

Hon. Nwaokolo vows to deliver Achalla -Ibusa to APC come 2023

By: Ike Philip Abiagom

[dropcap]F[/dropcap]ormer Secretary to Oshimili North Local Government,Hon. Hillary Nwaokolo, has charged all the APC members in Ward 4 Achala-Ibusa,in Delta State to collaborate and start preparing for the 2023 general elections in earnest to ensure the victory of the party.
Hon Nwaokolo said this while addressing the party faithful yesterday in Achala-Ibusa, when he hosted APC  Ward 4  members.Nwaokolo said that he was impressed with the massive turnout of party faithful and the development has further shown the commitment of our members towards this political rebirth. It has proved that we are ready to sacrifice our ambition for the party’s success and I am exceedingly elated.
Hon. Nwaokolo also charged all APC members to work in unison for the success of the APC and He stressed the need to intensify efforts at their respective wards to ensure that the APC reclaim its mandate in 2023. He called on party leaders to remain united and committed to the ideals of the party for it to emerge victorious in the elections.
Hon.
