It will be festival of sort at Ibusa,Delta State, from today, Friday, January 28th, 2024, as the earthly remains of Mama Onyemebizieogor Okafor(NEE MOZEA), will be returned to mother earth in a blaze of glory.
Mama Onyemebizieogor Okafor, mother of PR guru, renowned Musician, Strategist, and social media influencer, Mr. Diyoyo Eluemunor Okafor, passed away at the age of 86 years.
A release issued by the media Influencer said his deceased mother will be laid to rest in the ancient city of Igbuzor today,28th,June 2024.
According to the release by Mr. Diyoyo Eluemunor Okafor, the final rites of passage for Mama Onyemebizieogor Okafor(NEE MOZEA) commences yesterday, Wednesday, June 27, with a Service of Songs at her residence while the funeral service and interment hold at the same venue on thursday,28th June 2024.
Also, on Saturday, 29th June, traditional Okanga Dance rites will be held, before Mkpami, the final burial rite will take place on 30th June 2024 at her paternal home Umuezebo, Ogbeowele, Ibusa.
During her life time, Mama Okafor(NEE MOZEA) was an enterprising small business owner, devout Christian and unrelenting activist for the continued uplifting of humanity, restoration of those timeless virtues and values that Nigerians, and indeed, the Black race are renowned. Her worldview was shaped by the values of handwork, diligence, honesty, respect and perseverance. May her gent soul of mama rest in perfect peace, Amen.
