In just over two years as the member representing Oshimili North Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Frank Esenwah has redefined what true grassroots representation means — especially in the area of education.
From Ebu to Illah, Ugbolu to Akwukwu-Igbo, Atuma-Iga to Ukala, Okpanam, and Ibusa, his vision for a better future for children across the constituency has translated into concrete actions and visible results.
Beyond providing educational scholarships and facilitating numerous admissions into tertiary institutions, Hon. Esenwah has distributed thousands of educational materials to pupils in public primary and secondary schools across all communities — ensuring that no child is left behind in the pursuit of learning.
Recognizing that quality education requires more than just books and teachers, the lawmaker has also invested heavily in infrastructure renewal. Among his notable projects are:
Renovation of a six-classroom block with office at New Era Primary School, Okpanam
Renovation of a four-classroom block with offices and construction of a prototype four-pupil toilet at Omu Girls Primary School, Ibusa
Renovation of a six-classroom block with offices at Omorka Model Primary School, Illah
These interventions have provided pupils and teachers with safer, cleaner, and more conducive environments for learning, inspiring renewed confidence in public education within the constituency.
For Hon. Esenwah, education remains the foundation of sustainable development and a top priority in his legislative agenda. His tireless efforts continue to uplift the academic standards of Oshimili North and position the constituency as a model of progressive representation in Delta State.
“Our investment in education is an investment in the future. Every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed,” Hon. Esenwah emphasized during one of his school project inspections.
