In Pursuant of development and peaceful coexistence in Ibusa, Oshimili North Local Government of Delta State.Ibusa Community Development Union(ICDU) under the leadership of Chief Victor Uchuno, the President General ICDU Worldwide has held a glittering ceremony yesterday at Ibusa,to honoure a prominent son of the land,Pastor Idowu Daniel Okeze. He was bestowed with a special award in recognition of his outstanding contributions to women empowerment, youth development and philanthropy. The distinguished honor
came from the organizers of the Ibusa Community Development Union(ICDU).
Pastor Idowu Daniel Okeze,has long been a driving force in fostering positive change within the community. His unwavering commitment to empowering women, nurturing the potential of the youth, and making significant strides in philanthropy has not only earned him widespread respect but also this distinguished recognition.
The award is a testament to Pastor Okeze’s exceptional efforts in advancing the cause of women empowerment. The ceremony was chaired by Ambassador Ignatius Chukwuemeka Olisemeka who joined the Executive Chairman of Oshimili North Local Governemnt, Hon. Innocent Esewezie and Chief Victor Uchuno, the President General ICDU Worldwide in presenting the Award to Pastor Idowu Okeze. Hon Esewezie hailed the calibre of people involved in the planning and thanked them promoting their Community.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chairman of the event, Ambassador Ignatius Chukwuemeka Olisemek who opened the floodgate of encomiums for Pastor Idowu Daniel Okeze, praised the ICDU for recognizing no boundaries in his empowerment drive and assured him that Ibusa people are strongly with him.

The Executive Chairman of Oshimili North Local Government Area, Hon. Innocent Esewezie used the medium to call on all well meaning sons and daughters of the LGA irrespective of the town or village, to participate in the development of their communities by directly investing in their people and Communities. He described Pastor Idowu as an outstanding son of Ibusa who has used his position in the Empowerment of his people .
The awardee, Pastor Okeze attributed his success in life to God almighty, expressed his appreciation and charged Ibusa people to continue to be united as they stand a better chance to achieve more as a united family. He expressed gratitude to all the people who made the occasion a reality, even as he promised that he would continue to be a good ambassador of his community and his state of origin.
