Hon. Henry Mordi aka Ojokojo,Governor Oborevwori’s newly appointed Senior Special Assistant on Political Matters has expressed appreciation to the Delta Governor and his Father and Political mentor, Most Distinguished Senator Peter Nwaoboshi for finding him worthy of the state appointment.
In a statement sent to Newsbreeze on Monday,June 30,2025, Hon. Mordi thank the governor on his appointment, he said, “This appointment is not just a designation for me, but a tremendous opportunity to act as medium between the people and the Government and contribute towards the betterment of Deltans. I am truly excited and motivated to work diligently, with integrity and compassion, in service to our State. I promise to approach this role with dedication, sincerity, and a strong commitment to the values of justice, equality, and progress. I am ready to embrace the challenges that lie ahead and to work tirelessly to create a positive change in the lives of my people.
Hon. Mordi credited Nwaoboshi’s guidance and support as instrumental throughout his journey to this position,stressing the importance of such mentorship in public service. He further described the appointment as a significant privilege and pledged to uphold the confidence bestowed upon him by the Governor.
