On Saturday November 30th 2024,the former Delta State Commissioner of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Dr Ben Iwezu and his wife hosted friends and political associates at the traditional wedding ceremony of their son, Ben, to his lover, Lagos born Dupe, at Sheba Event Centre, 20 Mobolaji Bank Anthony Way, Ikeja-Lagos.
The colorful event had quite a number of strong men of Niger Delta politics, as well as the creme of Lagos society in attendance. In attendance were the likes of Dr Gabriel Ogbechie, the Chairman of Rainoil, traditional rulers, Politicians and amongst others.
At the reception held at the Sheba Event Centre, Lagos, the Special Guest of Honour Dr Gabriel Ogbechie, congratulated the couple on their successful marriage and urged them to love one another to ensure longevity of their union.
Many are now looking forward to the main wedding ceremony coming up this weeks.
