Hon. Oseme gave the commendation during the distribution of food items provided by the state government to cushion the effect of the stay at home order at the council Secretariat, Issele-uku.

According to him, “We have taken full delivery of what he (Okowa) promised. He has transformed our infrastructure and now, he is transforming our stomach.
“We have handed over the items to the President Generals of the communities in the council area for onward distribution to the poorest of the poor”
“Politicians are not involved in the sharing but the seven man committee can only supervise the distribution process.”
Addressing the PGs, the council boss emphasized that the sharing was community based, stressing the need for the beneficiaries to be household based devoid of political consideration whatsoever.
The seven man Palliative Committee in local government include; Chairman of the Palliative committee, Hon Chuks Oseme, other members are, Hon Emeka Nwaobi, Chief Nkem Okwuofu, Mr lfeanyi Egwuyenga, Mr Emma Chinye, Barr Mrs Ada kachikwu and Aniocha North CAN Chairman, Rev Fr Innocent.
