The President General of ICDU home branch, Onowu Paul Okobi has been honoured by the Association of Community Newspaper Publishers of Nigeria(ACNPN) for his outstanding service to humanity and proactive leadership within the Igbuzo community.
The prestigious recognition, presented at the Publishers’ Annual Event, celebrates his unwavering commitment, grassroots engagement, and developmental contributions that have continued to strengthen unity and progress in Igbuzo.
Speaking shortly after receiving the award, the honouree expressed deep appreciation to the Association of Community Newspaper Publishers of Nigeria(ACNPN) for finding him worthy of the honour. He described the award as a motivation to continue serving with sincerity, dedication, and renewed energy.
He assured the gathering of his readiness to do even more for the growth and advancement of Igbuzo, noting that community development remains a shared responsibility.
