The maiden edition of the Felix Nyemike Nkadi (FNN) Ibusa Public Primary Schools Soccer Competition will officially kick off tomorrow at 3:30 p.m. at the St. Augustine’s College Soccer Pitch, Ibusa.
The opening match of the competition will see Ezemese Primary School lock horns with Isunabuogu Primary School, setting the stage for what promises to be an exciting grassroots football tournament aimed at discovering and nurturing young talents.
Organisers say the competition is designed to promote early talent discovery, encourage sportsmanship among pupils, and provide a platform for “catching them young” as part of efforts to groom the future stars of the next generation.
The organisers have expressed deep appreciation to Obi (Dr.) Henry Chukwuma Ajudua, President of Vebron Group, for his co-support of the competition, particularly in sponsoring refreshments throughout the tournament. Gratitude was also extended to Mr. Jude Emeka Nwanze for his support through the donation of 10 plastic chairs to aid the smooth conduct of the event.
The tournament is powered by Felix Nyemike Nkadi (FNN) in collaboration with the Soccer Organising Committee, with Evangelist Felix Nyemike Nkadi serving as the major sponsor.
With excitement already building among pupils, teachers, parents, and football enthusiasts, the organisers assure the public of a fun-filled and memorable sporting experience as Ibusa witnesses the birth of a new grassroots football tradition.
