The Association of Community Newspaper Publishers of Nigeria (ACNPN) has honoured Dr. Joshua Muwhen, the Acting Managing Director of Delta Mortgage Trust Bank, in recognition of his outstanding leadership and proactive efforts in repositioning the institution for greater efficiency and growth.

Dr. Muwhen, described by the association as the “brain behind the bank’s recent achievements,” has been widely commended for steering Delta Mortgage Trust Bank into a new era of innovation, transparency, and service excellence. Under his stewardship, the bank has recorded notable progress in mortgage accessibility, customer confidence, and operational restructuring.
Presenting the award at the association’s annual conference, the State Chairman of ACNPN, Comrade Ike Philip Abiagom praised Dr. Muwhen for his exceptional vision, noting that his strategic initiatives have significantly strengthened the bank’s capacity to deliver affordable housing solutions to residents of Delta State.
In his remarks, Dr. Muwhen expressed sincere gratitude to the Publishers for the recognition, describing it as a call to further deepen professionalism and public trust in the mortgage sector. He dedicated the honour to the staff and board of the bank, whose commitment, he said, has made the progress possible.
He reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring that Delta Mortgage Trust Bank continues to play a pivotal role in supporting state development goals through accessible mortgage financing and sustainable housing schemes.
