Hon. Leo Nkeaka remains steadfast in his mission to give back to the community during the Yuletide period. The Asaba based Grassroots Politician, Philanthropist, Estate, Land and Property Consultant, Peace Ambassador and Chairman of LION-XTY GENUINE AND COMFORT GLOBAL PROPERTIES, cannot stop putting smile on the faces of widows and aged people in his Ibusa community. He had distributed over 200 Chicken,50 bags of rice, a live cow and cash gifts to widows, aged people and youths in Umueze as part of efforts to help alleviate the hardship faced by people during this yuletide season . The event which took place in Umueze Ibusa witnessed a large turnout of widows, married women, youths and other indigent people in Ibusa.

During this event few days ago the beneficiaries were rejoicing over the magnanimity of the philanthropist, whom they said gave them hope of celebrating the birth of Christ like other families.

In an exclusive chat with Newsbreeze, the philanthropist, Hon. Leo Nkeaka, said that he was moved to remember the widows, youths and aged people this yuletide season because it is a season of giving and showing love as he loves giving back to society.

He said: “The distribution of these items is borne out of the need to express love to our people, particularly widows and the aged persons in seasons like this. It is our modest contribution to our immediate environment and a way of giving back to society. After all, we rise by lifting others. Recently too, we’ve been into a few similar gestures for other strata of the society. We intend to do more in due course. He noted that “It is all about reaching out and touching lives, which we have been doing for the past fourteen(14)years now. When you make people happy, God has a way of making you happy too. It is something we have learnt, and we are doing it and will keep doing it.

“Nevertheless, my advice to my people of Umueze this Xmas is that as we go about our merriment, let us not forget the essence of the season; to show love to one another and put smiles on as many faces as possible. We do not need to own the world to be able to lend a helping hand. Let the popular proverb that a bone to the dog is not charity, that charity is a bone shared with the dog when you’re as hungry as it is, always be our watchword.”
