Pastor Okeze Congratulates High Chief Charles Okonkwo on Coronation as Odogwu of Igbuzo

The Founder of the Obi Nwaokocha Okeze Foundation, Pastor Idowu Daniel Okeze, has congratulated High Chief Charles Ositadinma Okonkwo on his coronation and installation as the Odogwu of Igbuzo, held on Saturday, February 7, 2026.

In a goodwill message released to the press, Pastor Okeze described the coronation as a historic and well-deserved honour, noting that High Chief Okonkwo’s emergence as Odogwu reflects his lifelong commitment to service, peace-building, and the preservation of Igbuzo’s cultural heritage.

According to him, the Odogwu title is reserved for men of proven courage, integrity, and leadership, virtues he said High Chief Okonkwo has consistently demonstrated through his selfless contributions to community development and unity.

Pastor Okeze further commended the people and traditional institution of Igbuzo for upholding age-long customs and values, adding that the colourful ceremony showcased the richness of the town’s cultural identity and collective pride.

He prayed for wisdom, strength, and divine guidance for the newly installed Odogwu as he assumes his traditional responsibilities, expressing confidence that High Chief Okonkwo’s reign will usher in greater harmony, progress, and prosperity for Igbuzo.

The Obi Nwaokocha Okeze Foundation, he added, joins family members, friends, well-wishers, and the entire Igbuzo community in celebrating the Odogwu on this remarkable milestone in his life and service to humanity.
