[dropcap]O[/dropcap]gbueshi Chukwuma Ndah,the Onu Diokpa Ogbueshi James Okechukwu Ndah,Diokpa of Ogbe-Ogo village has released a statement confirming his father’s death.
According to a statement issued by his family and signed by the Onu diokpa, Ogbueshi Chukwuma Ndah ,they described the deceased Prominent Diokpa as beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many, who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
“It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing away of Ogbueshi James Okechukwu Ndah(Diokpa of Ogbe -Ogo village, Asaba) who joined his ancestors on May 23rd, 2023.
“Ogbueshi James Okechukwu Ndah was also a respected, humility personified and accomplished High Chief, a philanthropist who dedicated his life to the service of his community, town and country. His legacy will live on through the impact he made on the lives of many.
Ogbueshi Chukwumma Ndah, the Onu Diokpa, who disclosed this last night, said the funeral arrangements are as follows:
Service of Song: Thursday, August 10, Church /Thanks-giving service and interment will hold on Friday,11,and on 12th other Traditional rites in Asaba, Delta State. Arrangement will be made for those who would like to join virtually as there are active Internet connections in Asaba town.
“The Ndah family is grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. We ask that you keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we mourn the loss of our patriarch. Ogbueshi Ndah said the whole town had been thrown into mourning following the departure of the nonagenarian and prayed to God to grant the Ndah family and Asaba community the fortitude to bear the loss.
