Hon. Frank Esenwah, the distinguished representative of Oshimili North in the Delta State House of Assembly, has continued to set a strong example of people-focused leadership through impactful projects that cut across education, healthcare, economic empowerment, and infrastructure. His steady contributions are widely acknowledged as strengthening the foundation of development across Oshimili North and complementing the Delta State Government’s drive for renewed progress.
Understanding that good health is essential for productivity, Hon. Esenwah launched the Indigent Enrollee Adoption Initiative, covering one-year health insurance premiums for 200 vulnerable residents of Oshimili North. This initiative guarantees access to medical care for those who would otherwise struggle to afford it.
Additionally, he has supported the renovation of primary healthcare centers and facilitated free medical outreach efforts that bring doctors, medication, and health education directly to the people.
Hon. Esenwah has demonstrated a deep commitment to building a knowledgeable and empowered generation. He has provided thousands of notebooks and recommended literature to secondary school students, easing the financial burden on parents and encouraging academic excellence.
Beyond classroom support, he promotes youth entrepreneurship by backing free vocational trainings—including hairstyling and other skill-based programs—aimed at helping young people start sustainable businesses.
He has also overseen the renovation of school facilities and supplied modern desks and chairs, ensuring students learn in an enabling environment. Many beneficiaries of skills acquisition programs continue to receive mentorship and guidance through his office.
In partnership with the Delta State Government, Hon. Esenwah participated in the groundbreaking of the 12km Okpanam–Ugbolu Link Road, a project expected to boost economic activity and ease movement between communities.
His contributions also extend to community development efforts involving roads, markets, bridges, and other grassroots infrastructure that directly improve daily living conditions.
To strengthen small businesses, Hon. Esenwah introduced the C-Grant Empowerment Scheme, offering financial support to traders, market women, artisans, and young entrepreneurs. These grants have helped many expand their businesses, stabilize their livelihoods, and contribute to local commerce.He also continues to play a key role in connecting young constituents with job opportunities in government establishments, reducing unemployment and fostering economic inclusion.
