Distinguished Senator Peter Onyelukachukwu Nwaoboshi (SPON) has congratulated the Governor of Delta State, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, former governors, founding fathers, all leaders in the state and all Deltans on the occasion of the 34th anniversary of Delta State.
Senator Nwaoboshi reflected on the journey so far with optimism, expressing hope for a brighter future, while also commending Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for the significant strides the State has made under his administration.
Nwaoboshi in a statement issued on Tuesday in Asaba by his Media Aide, Comrade Ike Philip Abiagom, expressed gratitude to the former Military President ,Gen. Ibrahim Babangida, for the creation of the State 34 years ago, Senator Nwaoboshi called on the people to continue supporting the Oborevwori administration for the good of the state and its people.
According to him, under Oborevwori’s leadership, the state has witnessed remarkable development, enjoyed sustained peace, and experienced inclusive growth that spans multiple industries. In rejoicing with the Governor, Nwaoboshi said: “Over the past three decades, Delta State has evolved into a beacon of hope, unity, and progress, thanks to the collective efforts of our leaders communities, and people.
“We celebrate the efforts of the Governor and other distinguished sons and daughters of Delta State for their commitment and patriotic efforts in projecting our State in good light in all areas of human endervour both at the national and international arena. Since its creation, Delta State has continued to produce great minds who excel with tremendous accomplishments in business, politics, medicine, economy, science and technology, the arts, music, hospitality among others. Senator Nwaoboshi is overjoyed in celebration and urges all Deltans at home and in the Diaspora to continue in their patriotic spirit and in supporting Governor Oborevwori and other leaders at various levels so that the State can achieve its full potentials in line with the visions of the founding fathers.”
