[dropcap]I[/dropcap]t was jubilation galore as political office holders in Oshimili North local government area of Delta State were called upon to emulate the good virtues of a renowned loyal and committed chieftain of the party, Hon. Austin OjeogbueNnabuife recently.
The call was made at an enlarged gathering of PDP supporters drawn from various communities of the local government area at the residence of the party chieftain at Ezukwu, Ibusa, where others also joined in the victory celebration of governor Ifeanyi Okowa’s re-election organized

Nnabuife as not only an exceptional party leader but also a rare politician that has over the years used his personal resources to support the growth of the party and its members at the unit, ward, state as well as senatorial and national levels.
Community leader and staunch members of the party from Illah, Ebu, Ukala and Aninwalo commended Nnabuife
for his overwhelming interest towards any PDP activities, stating that if other political leaders toe the lifestyle of the Aniocha/Oshimili founder and national coordinator, there is no doubt that the members especially the less privileged amongst them would be better placed in the society.
The speakers maintained that Hon. Nnabuife during his tenure as councilor that represented ward 4 comprising Ezukwu, Achalla and Ogboli Ibusa, he was never found wanting, rather, was seen and recognized as a committed,
trusted party leader that was always carrying every one along no matter how inconvenient such occasion might be to him.
The people noted further that apart from his tight and busy scheduled as the spokesman/representative of the Diokpa (village head) of his community, Ibusa, he was always engaged and played his roles towards contributing financially to the overall development of the immediate community and the entire town.
Others who spoke and poured encomium on Hon. Nnabuife

The people also remarked that the Special Assistant to the governor during the just concluded elections of
candidates of the PDP single handedly financed the construction of bill boards hung at strategic areas of the local government for support of the governor Okowa, Sen. Peter Nwaoboshi, Hon. Ndudi Elumelu and Hon. Princess Pat Ajudua as well as produced different sizes of T. shirts/caps to match, production of jingle advert placement on radio, television and newspaper propaganda informing and canvassing to the public on the need to cast their valid votes for all the candidates of the PDP while he in addition provided logistics to the electorate to enable them travel either to collect their PVCs and to feed during the exercise.

The news of Hon. Nnabuife’s philanthropic gesture spread like wild fire to all nook and crannies of the local government area as a result, his unit witnessed the highest number of vote cast in both at the Presidential and the governorship and House of Assembly elections.
It is, however, the opinion of these persons of Oshimili North including some political leaders in collaboration with this writer that Hon. Austin OjeogbueNnabuife with the help of God and recommendation of the power that be such like the person of Sen. Peter Nwaoboshi and others will continue to push ahead in recommending to the governor the need to further give higher appointment to Hon. Nnabuife so as to enable him do more for the party and the people just as they jointly commended the governor and his team for the appointment of Nnabuife as one of the Special Assistant on Community Development.
