[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he West Africa Examination Council, (WAEC) has said recently that the WAEC/CGE registration deadline has been extended to July 27, 2018 for its Nov-Dec edition exams.This was made known through a document made available to newsmen from the public affairs office of the council.
Intending candidates who have not registered for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for Private Candidates (Second Series) can now do so before the registration window closes again as the registration for the exam costs N13,950 only.
The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has extended the registration period for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for Private Candidates (Second Series) to July 27, 2018.
The examination, more popularly known as General Certificate Examination, GCE is officially known as November/December WASSCE and will hold between August and October.
According to the Council’s Head of Public Affairs, Demianus Ojijeogu, intending candidates can obtain their registration pins from WAEC Zonal and Branch offices, and accredited agents nationwide. Registration pins and scratch cards are also available at the following banks: Zenith Bank, First Bank, Sterling Bank, Diamond Bank, Guaranty Trust Bank, FCMB, Skye Bank, UBA, EcoBank, Fidelity Bank, Heritage Bank, Stanbic IBTC, Unity Bank,Union Bank, Access Bank,Standard Chartered Bank, and WEMA Bank.
