[dropcap]G[/dropcap]overnor Ifeanyi Okowa is currently swearing in newly elected chairmen of local government councils in Delta State.
Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, today, January 8, 2018 swore-in 23 Council Chairmen at Asaba, the State capital amid criticism of the Local Government poll by the opposition All Progressives Congress, APC.
The ceremony which held at the Unity Hall, Government House, was witnessed by top government functionaries that included the Deputy Governor of Delta State, Barr Kingsley Otuaro, former Governor of Delta State, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, Delta State Peoples Democratic Party Chairman, Barr Kingsley Esiso, Federal and State lawmakers, members of the State Executive Council, Chairmen and members of Statutory Boards, Political Appointees, pressmen and other dignitaries.
