Governor Oborevwori Swears in Igbuzo Son, Victor Ogbugo, as Permanent Secretary

Governor of Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori, has officially sworn in an illustrious son of Igbuzo, Mr. Ogbugo Victor Chike , as a Permanent Secretary in the Delta State Civil Service, a development that has sparked widespread jubilation in Igbuzo community, Oshimili North Local Government Area.
Mr. Ogbugo was among the eleven newly appointed Permanent Secretaries approved by the Delta State Government, an appointment many have described as a reward for dedication, competence, and years of selfless service to the state.

A respected technocrat and seasoned administrator, Victor Ogbugo hails from the Umuekea Quarter of Igbuzo and currently serves as Director of Town Planning in the
Ministry of physical planning and Urban renewal.

Colleagues and associates within the ministry have consistently described him as intelligent, hardworking, humble, and result-oriented.
According to staff members of the ministry, his appointment did not come as a surprise because of his outstanding record of professionalism, commitment, and ability to work harmoniously with people at all levels.

They noted that he has remained a caring and disciplined officer who carries everyone along in the discharge of his responsibilities.

Community leaders, stakeholders, and residents of Igbuzo have expressed profound appreciation to Governor Oborevwori for finding one of their sons worthy of such a strategic position in the state civil service. They described the appointment as well deserved and long overdue, considering Ogbugo’s years of meritorious service and contributions to public administration in Delta State.

Many residents also believe that his elevation to the rank of Permanent Secretary will serve as a source of inspiration to young professionals across Igbuzo and Delta State, encouraging them to remain steadfast, diligent, and committed to excellence in public service.
