Austin Izagbo,President General of Ibusa Community Development Union World wide.
The city of Ibusa in Oshimili North Local Government of Delta State was turned to a carnival ground for two days from Thursday, 27th of May to Friday, 28th of August, 2021. The carnival was the befitting burial ceremony of the late Madam Beatrice Nwabuma Okwute(Nee Esenwa).
The Thursday event was the service of song \wake keep, which held at the late Madam Okwute’s house at Ogbewelle, Ibusa. On Friday 28th May, 2021, the late Madam Okwute’s remains was laid to rest at her residence, while a superlative reception took place at the Anioboshi Primary School field,opposite Federal Government Girls College, Ibusa.
In his condolence message, Senator Nwaboshi urged the family of the deceased to be consoled by the fact that she lived a worthy life. According to him, “The loss of our dear mother is a great loss to the family, Ibusa, Oshimili North Local Government , Delta State ,South South communities at large. While we mourn with your entire family, be consoled that mama made her mark on mankind while on earth.
“Though death is inevitable, it is not a desirable experience especially when it involves someone close to us. I implore you not to despair in the face of this sad event, as mama has only moved to a better place of eternal rest.“live a life that is worthy, a life that will touch other people’s lives positively bearing in mind that after you have gone, you will only be remembered by what you did when you were alive.” “In whatever we do, we should consider the feeling of others, we must make impact in our communities because, people can only love you when you have made impact on the life of people back home,“On behalf of my family, the Senate and entire people of Delta North District, please accept my most sincere condolences Chief (Dr).
