By: Ike Philip AbiagomThere is an ongoing mass defection from PDP to APC in Ibusa, Delta State. PDP today lost its members in Isieke -Ibusa (Ward 5) in Oshimili North L.G.A to A.P.C as Chief Elufo Dike commenced his ward to ward consultations in the Local Government.
According to Chief Elufo Dike, who is an indigene of Ibusa and a former PDP Chairmanship aspirant in the last Local Government Election, received the defectors, urging them to inform others that the salvation of the Ibusa would be realised through the APC.
Addressing reporters, Dike hailed the ‘’submission’’ of Ibusa, he describes it as a key to winning Delta. He enjoined people to pray for the state to successfully go through the process of escaping the hold of PDP in 2023.
“There is no doubt that Ibusa is the backbone of Oshimili North politics. What you are witnessing here today marks the end of PDP in Isieke and Delta State because since 2015 one area APC had not been able to crack in Delta State. But in Ibusa today God has made it possible for us . It’s a big plus to APC in Delta State.“My advice to Deltans is that they should be steadfast and prayerful because to remove the Goliath in Delta State, you need the wisdom of God. That giant that has held Deltans hostage for more than 22 years. It is only Prayers that can remove them. APC and PDP are going to fight in 2023 and the war is going to bring freedom to the people. APC government is going to rule in delta state.
“The population you are seeing here today; you can see the hall and the people outside are among those who have just defected to APC. We will not leave any stone unturned, we will go to the nooks and crannies of Ibusa to ensure they support APC,” Dike said.
Morestill, Dike said the Oshimili North had been in turmoil since it fell into the hands of Gov. Okowa, adding that the exclusion majority of the people in Ibusa suffered under PDP would soon end.
His words: “Okowa has failed us. In Ibusa,Gov. Okowa executed just a single road in Ibusa and we cannot point to anyother project he executed in Ibusa for six years now. It is because we are not united.”
WE VOW NEVER TO ALLOW ANY, BOTH INSIDE AND OUTSIDE IBUSA TO RUBBISH OUR BLOOD BROTHER AGAIN.
